Relay
Remember the relay in the last Sports Day?
“START!!!"
After the shot the relay starts with the red and white team running next to each other, Nakajima and Kikuchi doing their best to gain first position.
Taisuke looks worried. He stares at his side where Kitayama is getting ready for his turn.
Red team must win the race. I must win the race.
Kitayama notices him and smiles, looking like he’s enjoying every moment of the competition.
Don’t think that you’ll win just because you used to run after a ball when you were younger.
Tamamori and Hashimoto receive the baton pretty much at the same time and when Tamamori looks like he’s taking the lead Kitayama turns to Fujigaya, still smiling.
“Good luck ne~”
Fujigaya nods vaguely in reply.
Actually you’re not that young anymore. It’s time to make good use of all the exercise Mifune senpai was doing.
They both hold out a hand as they see Hashimoto and Tamamori approaching them almost at the same time.

Fujigaya grabs the baton and starts running. He is too focused running with all his might and looking ahead and he doesn’t want to know if Kitayama is right behind him. Besides he can feel him...
Stay away from me! Don’t get close!
Somehow he manages to arrive before him and hands out the baton to the final leg runner. He drifts to the side and panting he looks around realizing what has just happened.
Hey! I made it! I arrived before him!
“You were fast!” points out Kitayama.
“I was just lucky.” replies Fujigaya careful not to show any emotion.
They both stare at the red team winning the race. A gleam of pride brightens up Fujigaya’s eyes.
