Creative moonspeak
only 245 words because bawww exams. :c
“Hindquarters?” Kitayama asks, quirking an unamused eyebrow and fixing the photographer with a stare lovingly described as ‘judging harshly’ by some of the other hosts. “If you say all of that again minus the creative moonspeak I might actually have a chance of understanding what it is you want me to do.’
The photographer sighs in frustration, muttering things about ‘simple directions’ and ‘idiotic hosts’ at his fancy black camera until someone else yells, all the way from the back of the studio - and very unhelpfully, in Kitayama’s opinion - that Kitayama is new.
The face the of surprised understanding the photographer pulls would probably be amusing if Kitayama was paying attention, instead he's trying to work out who said that and why he suddenly feels like all eyes in the room are now on him.
It was probably Fujigaya.
Because Fujigaya’s new goal in life, it seems, is to make Kitayama’s life hard.
Case in point: his current situation. Posing for photographs for the catalogue, because Fujigaya deemed everyone had changed enough in the face to warrant new photo’s. (And in Senga’s case, enough in the hair that it could potentially be bad for business say, if someone were to ask for him based on the cherubic looking old photo, only to be greeted by cheekbones and an unruly perm).
When the photographer opens his mouth to give more instructions, or the same instructions over again, Kitayama decides that no, he’s definitely going to need a translator.
