sickness and health

The translator module inside the TARDIS is broken.

Tamamori doesn't notice it much at first because he's so used to tuning out the Doctor at this point -- no one can follow what anyone says when they're speaking at roughly the same speed they're traveling through time in, after all -- but he starts to notice it when he realizes that Miyata and the Doctor have been shouting at each other. He sits up in his bunk and shoots death glares at the door -- don't they know he's trying to get some beauty sleep?

"GO - HOME," Miyata is saying loudly as Tamamori rouses himself out of bed, finally fed up with the yelling and goes out into the main chamber of the time machine. Miyata's also flapping his arms about, as if it'll get his point across easier. Tamamori rolls his eyes.

"WHY?" the Doctor asks in reply, equally loud, and Tamamori wonders how they can still misunderstand each other when the words aren't even that difficult. Then again, maybe Miyata never looked up the meanings to the random English strewn about their songs.

Miyata falters -- it's hard to explain why they have to go home in a language he doesn't know, especially when it's things like location shooting and Johnny's Countdown, though it'd be really fun to see how the audience would react if they arrived in the middle of the Dome in the TARDIS. Hell, Tamamori would do it just to see how Fujigaya reacts.

"OI," Tamamori cuts in, and both pairs of eyes fly to him. He puts a finger up to his lips. "SHHH!" He then decides to add a, "QUIET!" for good measure, points to himself, then claps his hands together and puts them next to his cheek, tilting his head to the side and closing his eyes to imitate the act of sleeping. He finally glares at them both, tells them, "FIX!" while making vague speaking gestures from his mouth, then points at the sizzling translator module, and turns on his heel and stomps away, slamming the door to the bedroom shut with a loud bang.

How they can go on like they hadn't spent the last two days running away from Vampirics from Saturnyne, he has no idea.

Meanwhile, back outside, the Doctor is puzzled. "Your boyfriend looks like he's about to throw up."

i believe it's [livejournal.com profile] yararanger's turn!
