[Team 1] Bright Ideas

Because [livejournal.com profile] orange_c_c wondered whether there was happy Iida fic anywhere to be found.
... I tried. ._.

Laughter filled the changing room. There weren’t a lot of people left in it, just a small group in the far corner. All the little Juniors had gone to dance practice already before the first stage rehearsal was about to start. The older group had already finished their blocking and run through.

“I tell you it was-” Fujigaya was about to tell the story for what seemed like the millionth time within the past five minutes. Kawai already started cackling before the other got out another word.

“Okay, we get it. Job well done. Next,” Kitayama intervened before things could get any more chaotic, or well, before somebody died from lack of air or worse.

“I told you not to brush off my jokes like that!” Fujigaya was almost pouting at the older male.

“You’ve told it five times already!”

The rest of A.B.C. jumped into the little bickering match between the two, while the rest of Kis-My-Ft sat on the side and watched. Iida was brushing tears of mirth from his eyes.

“You know, I love these guys,” Iida smiled fondly. “I’m glad we’re in this group together.”

Yokoo chuckled softly, “You know the reason that Kitayama isn’t letting you room with Fujigaya during tours is because he fears you’d just die from laughing or something or be bullied by him, too much. Although we all know he means no harm. And you just let him do it because, well, you’re you.”

Looking up at Yokoo, Iida smiled, “Or he might just be fearing for his sleep and sanity.”

“That, too,” Yokoo nodded and grinned. “Speaking of, now that everyone ELSE is busy, want to hit the costume closet? We might still have half an hour left.”

Iida grinned back, “Oooh, I like this idea.”
