Part of the reason why Miyata adores Tamamori is, of course, his face.

“That’s a terrible reason,” Tamamori says, face turning a soft shade of pink. “I’m an idol, my face is supposed to make people say that.”

Miyata laughs, rolling on his side in Tamamori’s bed to look at him. They should both be asleep, it’s after midnight and they have filming tomorrow, along with Tamamori having a handful of drama promotions to go to, but they stay awake anyway. “But it’s the best one.”

He makes a buzzer noise and rolls his eyes. “Try again.”

Humming, Miyata takes in Tamamori’s features with a smile on his face, eyes sleepy and half-lidded. “Your voice.”

“It’s horrible!”

Miyata shushes him, “It’s perfect. It doesn’t fit to every song like Gaya-san’s or Senga’s. There’s only a handful of songs meant for it.”

Tamamori shoves at him. “Don’t say it so fondly, it’s creepy.”

“You asked.” Miyata throws an arm of Tamamori’s waist, pulling him close and resting his chin on Tamamori’s shoulder. “Everything about Yuuta is perfect, from his skating--”

Tamamori scoffs, “I suck at skating.”

“--to his face.,” Miyata finishes as if Tamamori hadn’t said anything. “Even if the fans don’t think it’s perfect, it is, because it’s how you are. Now one else can be like that.”

It’s a strange before bed conversation to have, but Tamamori had to ask why Miyata adores him so much, even if the thought made his stomach churn and fill up with butterflies and made his heart race.

Tamamori makes disgusted noise in the back of his throat but moves closer to Miyata and says, “You’re so weird.” He can feel Miyata smile against his shoulder and hears the soft mumble of, “That’s why you like me, right?”
