[Team 1] A Memory
Super uncreative and super quick...but here, have something. There are vampires in this.
Back to life. At least that’s what it felt like but it wasn’t. He wasn’t really living anymore, although he was breathing, moving. He no longer had a heartbeat. He no longer needed to eat but only had to feed. Blood. He wanted it, no, needed it now.
“Not only diamonds are forever in this world,” a voice whispered into his ear. “Not only diamonds are forever beautiful.” The voice faded away and so did the presence of the other.
Sitting up slowly, he felt the sharp pair of fangs throbbing in his mouth. He could feel the life just outside the walls of the room, the people walking there. The people with their red lifeblood running through their veins. No longer able to stand the hunger, he headed out.
That had been his very first night as a child of darkness. It seemed like only yesterday but it lay way back, longer than several human lifespans.
“Watta, what are you thinking about? You just spaced out on me big time,” Fujigaya looked at the other. “Is something wrong?”
Yokoo turned to look at the other and apologized with a smile, “Sorry. I just remembered something and got lost in the memory.”
“Aw. Thinking of your dogs again perhaps?” Fujigaya asked and smiled as well.
Laughing softly, Yokoo shook his head, “No.” Then he looked at Fujigaya, hunger flashing in his eyes for a moment. “I’ll tell you about it later.”
Not that the other would remember.
