[team 3] untitled miyatama

It's been quite a while... orz
Real life has been eating me whole these past few days (well that, and being net-less).

A friend asked for miyatama in a TRC (tsubasa reservoir chronicle) AU, so here:

A smile greets Tamamori when he slowly opens his eyes, but that smile quickly switches to a look of concern when he struggles to get up, feeling faint. Strong, warm hands gently wrap around his back, laying him back down onto the mattress.

"Don't force yourself just yet," a familiar voice says, soothing Tamamori's frayed nerves. An image pops into Tamamori's head, then, of him and the man currently by his side; they're huddled close, hands entwined as they wince simultaneously while someone yells at them about something they did, but then he's brought back to the present by those same hands running along the seams of the blanket he's being tucked in. It feels weird to be taken with such great care, when he doesn't have a clue who this person is, but he just takes it without question.

"You'll need energy for our next destination. Yokoo-san is already opening up another passage for us to travel into. That last fragment of memory really knocked you over," the other man continues. He finishes tucking Tamamori into the bed, then moves toward the door.

Tamamori finally places a name to that face he has no recollection of ever meeting, but at the same time, he feels in his heart a special familiarity only bosom friends have. "Thanks, Miyacchi."

Miyata pauses on his way out, wide-eyed in surprise, so moved he is by Tamamori's utterance, before a full grin makes its way up his face. Tamamori tilts his head in question, having noticed the emotions flitting across Miyata's face. "It's the first time you called me by that nickname... since we started searching for the fragments of your memory," Miyata says, by way of explaining the unspoken query. Before Miyata steps out of the room, "Ne, Tama-chan~ I love you."

He quickly darts out, barely hearing Tamamori's huffy "Gross," and the closed door muffling the thunk of the pillow thrown his way.

Leader's turn now. :3
