[Team 1] untitled

So, I told [livejournal.com profile] kimidori_san that I was going to write Magicverse pre-YaraRyo YaraRyo but... eh... I ended up writing (T)hey in my genderswitch high school AU (which I still haven't got a name for xD)~

"Bullshit," Ryoko calls, staring intently at Shoko.

Hayashi blinked at her. "Are you calling bullshit on the cards I just put down, or what I just told you?"

"Um," hesitated Ryoko, momentarily confused. "… Both?" Then, she thought about it and confidently said, "Both."

"The~n," answered Shoko, drawing out the vowel, "nope, to both questions." She flipped over the two cards she just laid out: two 2s, just as she had said.

Ryoko huffed, slouching in her seat as she pouted at the cards on the table. "Darn," she cursed. Leaning forward, she swept the cards up before adding them into the originally small pile in her hand.

"You're not going to ask Sho-chan about what she meant about the Yara comment?" Eda asked from between them. "I mean, I thought that was what you were calling bullshit on…"

"Nope," answered Ryoko as she shuffled her cards.

Eda and Hayashi looked at each other, and then at Ryoko, confusion all over their faces.

When Ryoko looked up again, they were both still staring at her, so she asked them as she pulled out two cards from her fan of cards. "What's the matter?"

"But Tatsumi told me that Yara is always talking about his beautiful lady who lives with him," Hayashi explained, tilting her head to the side. "You were right there when he said it! Yara must be taken already."

"Like I said," Ryoko said with a shrug as she placed down her cards face down, "bullshit. Two 2s, by the way." Then, she leaned back in her chair and giggled softly. "Tatsumi was just being a troll – he's talking about Yaracchi's pet snake, Chura. I've met her – she is beautiful~"
