LALALA I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M DOING 8D;; (When do I have any idea what I'm doing?? 8D)
"Done," Ryoko yelled angrily, flinging the ball of yarn she had been working with in the direction of the TV screen. "Oh my god, I am so. bloody. done. with this drama - completely and utterly done."
But despite her angry pouts, she didn't make any move to pick up the remote control resting on the cushion beside her thigh. Instead, she huffed as she reeled the wool back towards herself so she could work on the blanket she was currently knitting. Looking away briefly to see where she was, she quickly picked up from where she had left off before turning her attention back on the show she had been watching.
Just then, the heavy oak door of the room swung open, and she looked up in surprise to see Yara, dressed in a loose blue tunic top and comfortable slacks, on the other side, a faintly amused expression on his face. He padded into the room, the soft soles of his shoes not making any sound against the flagstone flooring. She dropped her knitting into the basket beside the rocking chair.
"Good afternoon, my dear," he greeted quietly, leaning down slightly to press a kiss to the top of her head.
She hummed her return greeting affectionately, reaching a hand up to pull her husband's face closer. "How was the meeting, love?"
"Boring," he answered, pulling back. "What's got you all worked up? I heard you yelling just now."
Ryoko wrinkled her nose at the thought of the drama that was still playing on the TV screen. "This stupid show," she grumbled. "I don't know why I'm still watching it."
Yara laughed, long and heartily, and his amusement had Ryoko blushing.
Then he leaned over once more and laid a palm on her midriff, gently stroking his thumb over it. "Just be careful," he murmured, pressing small kisses to her cheek. "You know what the nurse said about over exciting yourself, my love."
She hummed in agreement, placing her hand over his and lacing their fingers together.
I CHOOSE YOU,
yararanger!!
