[Team 1] Building Snow Man

Short Snow Man blurb again.

The stage was one they had never stood on before, the city was one they had never really been to before, the month that lay ahead of them was an experience they had never made before. Takizawa Kabuki 2014 was a whole bunch of first times, some would happen all at once, others only gradually. The six members of Snow Man were grateful for the opportunity.

Living in a hotel with everyone for such a long time, they wonder if that’s how their senpai back in the day felt like, when they lived in the dorms. Probably but probably a lot less chaotic and things were probably a lot less comfortable than they were at the hotel.

“This will change us,” Miyadate said thoughtfully, when the six of them sat on the shinkansen bound for Hakata. They had turned their seats around so they could face each other (“huddle together” as Takizawa put it) and talk - they’d turn them back around if they wanted to sleep.

“I wonder what kind of people we’ll be by the time we return to Tokyo,” Sakuma wondered.

Fukazawa snorted, “You sound like we’ll get sucked into one of those adventures from your anime. That’s not going to happen.”

Iwamoto hummed, “But we’ll still be different people. Of course there won’t be a huge shift or anything - well you never know but yeah - but we’ll change.”

“You guys sure are serious,” Takizawa noted in passing as he got to his seat and the six of them bowed their heads in greeting politely. “Don’t forget to have some fun, too!”

“Does that mean you’ll go out for food with us?” Watanabe asked cockily.

“Oi! Don’t overdo it!”

They laughed and then settled back into their seats. “Well, we’ll be together even more for this time than we usually are. This isn’t just a short trip. We’ll be living together for a while. There might be fights, there might be good times when we all have fun. Let’s learn from all of them.”

Sakuma smiled, “Hikaru, you sound so...how do I put it?”

“That’s why he’s the leader and not you,” Fukazawa chided. When there was no reaction from the other, he raised an eyebrow, “Sakkun?”

“What? It’s true, isn’t it?” Sakuma blinked at his groupmate.

Abe smiled, “Hikaru-kun is the snowball that started rolling.”

The other five looked at their youngest for a moment, not quite catching on to Abe-logic.

“Well, before you can build a big snowman you need to roll small snowballs until they get bigger?” Abe elaborated on his thoughtprocess.

Watanabe pinched the bridge of his nose, “Oh my god, this kid is going to make me cry.”

“Abe-chan, that’s…” Sakuma couldn’t find the right words again.

Fukazawa put an arm around Abe, “You’re so deep. And you’re such a nice guy, Abe-chan. You’re just so perfect, it almost hurts a little bit.”

“Hey!”

“Your comebacks still need a lot of work though,” Fukazawa laughed as did the rest.

The good mood lasted well until they had arrived at the train station and transferred to their hotel, their home for the next couple of weeks.

Last word: [their home for the next couple of] weeks
