[Team Two] You want a piece of me

Oh, it's my turn!

And I don't know why but for some reason I'm having a very Tamamiya/Miyatama kind of phase. It's been very enjoyable to write them and I hope you all have as much fun reading as I have fun writing. There's no smut in this because I'm just not a smut writer.

“Because sometimes you’re the only thing I can depend on. Person. Your opinion. You know what I mean!” Tamamori feels his ears burning and he smothers Miyata with a pillow. He wouldn’t be feeling this embarrassed if it weren’t for this idiot being, well, an idiot.

Miyata is laughing and after a bit of flailing, the other manages to pull Tamamori into his arms and holds him. And Tamamori doesn’t complain. Doesn’t say anything and just closes his eyes. This is what he had come for after all. It had happened before. It had started years and years ago. He’d been fretting in the changing room, had stood in a corner thumping his head against the wall quietly when nobody else had been around. Or so he had thought. A pair of arms had pulled him away and his head had bumped against another head instead.

The other hadn’t done anything but Tamamori’s defenses crumbled from one moment to the next and he had held onto the other tightly. “It’s too much pressure. I can’t be perfect, like everyone expects me to be.” Thinking about how his voice had sounded back then made his ears burn even more but he couldn’t deny it. He couldn’t deny his past, he couldn’t deny having felt like that before. And still feeling like that even now, sometimes. Like, right now.

“You don’t have to be perfect, Tama-chan. Nobody is. You’re good the way you are. I like you just the way you are because that’s the ‘perfect’ Tama-chan to me if you want to say so.”

Tamamori remembers the other’s words even now. He remembers how much of an impact they had, how much strength they gave him in that moment. How much strength they still gave him now. Sometimes their power alone wasn’t enough to keep him going though so he had to get them ‘recharged’.

He’s not facing Miyata right now but he can feel the other breathe against his neck, can feel the other’s heartbeat somewhere against his back. He can feel the other with him. And that’s all that counts right now, that’s all he really wants right now.

It was Miyata, who’d brought this thing up before, ironically. The other had said on numerous occasions how glad he was to have claimed Tamamori before he got all hot and popular.

Tamamori had always thought of it as flattering (and gross of course because, Miyata). His ego had always felt quite good when the other had said that to him, or to someone else (for example when Tamamori had been ‘sleeping’ closeby). Admittedly, the whole thing had been somewhat one-sided. Although of course Tamamori cherished Miyata as well - even if he rarely admitted it, especially not when the other was around.

Until now.

Turning around in the other’s arms, Tamamori pulls Miyata closer against him, holds the other tightly and doesn’t show any intention of letting him go.

“You’re mine, right? And that’ll stay that way.” He doesn’t say it in the same way Miyata does, of course, but the feelings are the same. Tamamori is glad the other is his that he’s claimed the other at a time when apparently nobody else wanted him. He prides himself with knowing the other better than anyone else. He prides himself with realizing and seeing the value and attractiveness of Miyata when nobody else had done so.

And he’ll be damned before he gives Miyata away without a fight.

“Yuta?” Miyata sounds a little confused and the other catches Tamamori by surprise when he moves and pins him down onto the bed. “Something’s up. What happened?”

It’s easy to fight back against Miyata - especially when he wants to do so - and Tamamori has their positions reversed in a flash. Before he answers, he moves a leg and ends up straddling the other, effectively keeping Miyata where he was. “You’re what’s happened.” He mutters and grabs hold of Miyata’s shirt-collar. Tamamori pulls the other up a bit and crushes their lips together before the other can even think of saying anything back.

His kiss is gentle, yet possessive. Very much so. Tamamori isn’t so good when it comes to holding back his feelings - when he’s with Miyata at least. Something that adds even more fuel to the fire burning inside of him right now.

He jerks up and pulls away from the other when Miyata touches him, presses a sensitive spot that only the other knows, one that almost has Tamamori squeaking indignantly.

“Yuta.” Miyata sounds a little out of breath but he knows he has Tamamori’s attention now.

“I hate you for doing that.” Tamamori grumbles and wants to continue where he just left off but the other stops him when his face is only centimetres away from Miyata’s and their eyes are staring straight into each other’s.

“I appreciate the attention but there’s more to it than you’re telling me right now.” He says calmly and Tamamori gets even more furious. How can the other stay so calm when he has Tamamori all hot and bothered on top of him? He hears the other laugh softly and immediately feels mortified when he realizes he accidentally said that out loud.

“Fuck, see what you’re doing to me?” He punches the other’s shoulder.

Miyata’s still laughing. “Ow. But I think I know what’s wrong now.”

“Huh? How-” Tamamori is interrupted mid-question when the other pokes his forehead.

And then the other hits the bulls-eye, on first try no less (this only happens in anime quizzes or with him, Tamamori is sure of that). “You’re jealous.”

He thinks about denying it first but with Miyata staring straight into his eyes like that, he knows there’s no use. Tamamori has improved his acting skills - at least in his opinion - but he knows he can’t fool Miyata. Never. So he blurts everything out, gets it over with so they can move on.

“You just had to start getting yourself a little harem. Of guys!” Tamamori had been able to deal with the fangirls just fine. He’d known they had been no match for him somewhere in his mind.

Guys were a whole different story though. It had started with the guy he called the ‘ringleader’ of this whole mess. Miyata’s fellow anime maniac, Sakuma Daisuke. Although in reality the other was most likely the most harmless ‘competitor’ Tamamori had. “Your legions of otaku were openly challenging me.” He outright admits. He hadn’t reacted to it when he’d seen it but that ‘MIYATA’S MINE’ uchiwa at the concert held by a male had irked Tamamori.

Things hadn’t stopped there though. Tamamori admits that it hadn’t been ‘suddenly’ but that things had been gradually developing but realizing how many of the Juniors actually liked Miyata and were sort of ‘making moves on him’ had thrown Tamamori off as well.

The grin on Miyata’s face makes Tamamori growl softly. “I can’t believe you’re into me being jealous!” He tries to pull away from the other but somehow Miyata’s stronger than him now. How annoying!

“Which guy wouldn’t be into this?” Miyata asks back. “Especially someone as lucky as me.”

This time it’s the other who pulls Tamamori in a kiss and it effectively breaks through all of Tamamori’s defenses in one go. He wants to hold onto all his jealousy and (fake) anger and everything but Miyata seems to suck it straight out of him, sucks everything out until there’s only want left and Tamamori can’t do anything but whimper with need.

“Fuck you, Toshi-kun.”

“You want to?” Miyata has the guts to ask.

“No! And you know that.” Tamamori pulls of his shirt and undoes his pants - this is more than he usually does, really and that should say something. “You know what I want. Now.”

“I do.” Miyata answers softly and then caresses his cheek ever so gently. “And rest assured, Yuta, I won’t ever be anyone else’s but yours.”

Tammaori bites back tears - that would be mortifying and there’s no way in hell something like what the other just said would make him cry, no, no, no - and instead demands in his best commanding ‘Ren-sama’ tone, “Prove it.”

He no longer has any complains after Miyata does. Nor are any doubts and any jealousy clouding his heart and judgement once he can think straight again afterwards.

jealous Tama really is the cutest. except for the Tama who can't ever say his feelings but Miyata knows them all anyway.

it is endlessly hilarious that out of all of them, Miyata has managed to attract some male fans, bless him.
