[Team Four] Frogs
Based off a stageplay by Amuse with the same name, about two boys who got turned into frogs and had some fun dancing in the rain. XDD It's really nice, so if you watched it, drop a comment~~ ^_^ I hope I managed to convey my thoughts properly. :P
All Shintaro felt was the droplets of cool, refreshing rain on his skin, more inviting even than a cool shower after a long day of practices. The calming pattering sound continued its rhythm so soothingly, he almost missed the soft voice calling his name. He opened his eyes groggily. “Did I fall asleep?” he thought to himself.
“Shintaro, we’re in trouble!” Juri’s voice called to him. Shintaro looked around to find a slender figure dressed in a yellow hoodie with the cowl pulled over his eyes. The figure opened its mouth “Shin, it’s me,” it spoke in Juri’s voice.
“J-Juri?” Shintaro muttered, standing up. “What’s with that outfit? There are eyes on your hood,” Shintaro said with surprise.
Juri pushed his hood off and grabbed Shintaro’s shoulders. “Never mind the eyes! We’ve shrunk, Shin!” Juri exclaimed. Both of them studied their surroundings. All around them were grass about as high as their waist and trees taller than they should be.
Juri pulled his hands back. “Eww, you’re kindda slimy,” he said, noting the trail of slime from Shintaro’s clothes to his hands. Shintaro ran his hands across Juri’s arms and felt the same slimy feeling.
“So are you… What’s happening?” Shintaro said, feeling the fear rising in him.
“I don’t know…” Juri sighed. He turned his head towards the skies and felt the raindrops fall on his cheeks and a smile crept slowly to his face. “But the rain has never felt this refreshing before,” he continued, stretching his arms outwards and spinning in circles, forgetting about the problem at hand.
“Juri…” Shintaro smiled despite his fear. Watching Juri smile as he danced in the rain, Shintaro could feel his nerves calming. Spontaneous and carefree, Juri was always his savior when in panic. “I guess we can deal with this later,” Shintaro thought.
“Shin, let’s dance!” Juri stretched his arms pulling Shintaro into a galloping waltz, earning a burst of laughter from Shintaro. If Juri was with him, everything would turn out fine.
