That had been the first thing Taekwoon had noticed about him: his long, slender neck.
Under the sun-kissed skin, there were warm, pulsing vessels carrying blood, and in that first moment of acquaintance, all Taekwoon wanted to do was press his lips to where the neck curved into the shoulder. He wondered what the blood would taste like, if it was as sweet as the smile on the man's face when he raises his eyes to properly look at the other man.
"Good of you to finally meet my eyes, Mr Jung," said his new acquaintance with a tone of laughter in his voice, "although I'm sure my neck and the stuff pumped around beneath my skin is of greater interest to you than what I look like."
Taekwoon gaped, not at all used to the casual way this human was greeting him. Normally, they cowered, whimpering as they instinctively curled away from him, their eyes narrowed squinting with fright.
"This isn't my first, or even my second, time meeting a vampire, Mr Jung," the man said, answering Taekwoon's unvoiced question. This time, the tone was matched with a small, amused smile, as though tickled by Taekwoon's confusion. "I have met a few of your kind, I know some distinguishing traits."
Then his smile curled coquettishly, and suddenly he was leaning forward so that they were almost nose to nose. He raised a hand and ran the index finger down the curve of Taekwoon's jaw, touch feather light.
"I must say though," he murmured, breath ghosting over Taekwoon's lips, "you are most certainly the best looking vampire I've ever had the good fortune to meet."
