Slaughter or be slaughtered: that was the only rule in this place, the only morals Hakyeon had been brought up with.
But the thought of killing someone β anyone β terrified him, more than anything else. More than ghost stories told in the dark with only a single lit torch and people dressing themselves up for the sake of scaring people, the idea of taking another's life petrified him.
So instead, he learned to avoid, to escape, to hide away all traces of his existence. And he became very good at doing all of them.
Until he met Taekwoon.
And then everything he had worked hard to achieve came crashing down.
