[Team Four] Untitled as of yet

This is so short, sorry. It's the most I can manage on these busy days. Consider it a trailer for the Sumaknaes side-fic to the BaekYeol I wrote last time.

In which Joonmyun doesn't make the same mistake as Baekhyun because he knows exactly where the strip club is.

Sehun's skin was so warm. Amazed, Joonmyun drew his hand up the back of the dancer sitting in his lap. Of course his body was warm, glowing even, after the exertion of his performance had heated him up. Joonmyun had just spend too much time likening him and Kai to beautiful marble statues in his mind that the actual physical touch came as a surprise. The softness, the little bumps where moles dotted Sehun's skin, but most of all the warmth.

“Uh, did I read this wrong?” Sehun's voice snapped Joonmyun out of his trance. Not because it was a harsh voice, no, it was actually a lot quieter than Joonmyun had expected. But the words it transported...

“What?” Joonmyun gasped and didn't know how to voice his protest. Wrong? Nothing about this was wrong. Having Sehun in his lap was literally the rightest thing in Joonmun's life ever. (Not that the rest was bad but this was just amazing.)

“You're just so quiet,” Sehun said. “I thought you'd be more excited. Or are you only interested in Jo- er, I mean, Kai?”

“No! No, god, you- and Kai. I mean, equally. I like both of you equally. Woah, no, wait, that sounds bad. I swear I'm not greedy. I just, yeah. You two are my favourite dancers. You're really good.”

Joonmyun could feel his face heating up and his palms sweating. Baekhyun always made fun of him when he tried to explain himself but only dug his hole deeper.

Sehun sounded like he was suppressing laughter. Joonmyun was no expert on Sehun's off-stage facial expressions, but he could swear Sehun's smile was soft, more on the “aww, cute pet” end of the scale rather than the “pathetic social blunderer” end.

“Good, 'cause it would be an awkward date if you didn't talk at all. Can I use your phone?” was what Sehun said then.

“Uh, yes,” Joonmyun said, blinking stupidly and freezing when he felt Sehun's hand pushing into his jeans pocket. He was still reeling from the touch when Sehun had already dialled a number and talked to the person on the other end.

“Oh, hi, it's me. He said yes so come out now. Uh-hm, yeah.”

Sehun ended the call and pushed the phone at Joonmyun's chest. “That was Kai. Would you keep the number in your phone? He wanted you to have it but was too shy to give it to you.”

Shy?” Joonmyun asked, trying to reconcile this piece of information with his image of the boy he'd seen on stage humping a pole in nothing but tiny, golden shorts and body glitter.

“Yeah,” Sehun confirmed, “that's why he sent me to test the waters with you. I told him you kept looking at both of us but he didn't believe me. But it's just 'cause he's a blind mole up there without his glasses.”

“I'm not a blind mole,” came a protest in a new voice, a little deeper than Sehun's. Joonmyun looked up from where he was sitting and his heart almost stopped.

Kai, fully clothed in jeans and a simple hoodie with his hair down, falling softly over his forehead to the rim of a pair of glasses, looked about five years younger than he did on stage.

“Okay, play nice, kids. I'm just going to get changed quickly and then we can be off on our date,” Sehun said and shimmied his long, bare legs off Joonmyun's lap.

Kai took his place and touched Joonmyun's hand shyly, offering a little smile. “Hi. I'm Kai. I'll tell you my real name later.”
