[team sonic] Fire Meet Nitroglycerin
While we're waiting on the reshuffle I thought I'd try starting sonic again.
Also apparently I have a thing for Bakugo's sweat. Like a big thing T_T What's wrong with me?
Inspired by the Sia song 'Fire meet Gasoline' (my love of which is entirely Micchan's fault). There may be more of this sometime. Anyway -
It's dangerous to fall in love
But I want to burn with you tonight
Hurt me
There's two of us
Bristling with desire
The pleasure's pain and fire
Burn me
“Oh” Todoroki says to himself in alarm when he figures it out – what that feeling is. He looks right at Bakugo’s face, too close, at the gritted teeth snarling at him still, fire in his eyes.
Fire.
That’s what it’s all about.
And for the first time since this whole thing with Bakugo started, Todoroki wants to use it. He can almost smell the way it would burn, that sickly sweetness mixed with something else, bitter, caustic, dangerous. Just the thought has his head spinning. The heat between them and the smell of Bakugo’s sweat overpowering him, he feels a bead of sweat running down the left hand side of his face. Feels the flames itching along his skin, wanting to burst free.
He opens his mouth, breathless, sucks in a lungful of air and that’s worse because he can taste it. He wants to taste more. Wants so much to lean in, to run his tongue over Bakugo’s shimmering skin, to feel his flames lick along it too, the nitroglycerin in Bakugo’s sweat igniting him whole and together they could burn.
Bakugo steps back and Todoroki’s knees give out, he slumps down against the wall, his heart pounding erratically and Bakugo just stands there, looking at him, something close to fear in his eyes but Todoroki can see the shallow, uneven rise and fall of his chest too. He wonders if Bakugo felt it too – if Bakugo wants to burn just as badly, if he wants to hurt.
