[team one] Vinyl Snob. Sort of.
Idk, I could honestly see either one of them being a vinyl snob. But Jaejoong would do it wrong 😂
“The classics?” Yoochun eyes the haphazard pile of albums Jaejoong has amassed on the fingerprinted glass counter. “Just because they released stuff on vinyl does not make The Strokes classic rock.”
Jaejoong looks up from flipping through a row of used discount covers to give Yoochun a pointed glare. “They were around when I was young. That makes them classic. Jerk.” He clicks his tongue, turning back to his task.
“Are you calling yourself old?” Yoochun knows that Jaejoong can hear the teasing grin in his voice, even without looking up.
“Your face is old,” Jaejoong shoots back without much sting. “Come on, I’m ready to check out. You can carry those.” He points to the stack of 15 or 20 cardboard covered records and marches towards the register. Yoochun sighs, hefting the stack against his chest before following Jaejoong. Of course the album on top is a best of Neil Diamond collection. Yoochun rolls his eyes.
“Just so you know, I’m not lugging these around all day.” Yoochun sides the stack onto the counter and the clerk starts to ring them up on an ancient register. It’s probably from the 70’s, judging how much brown plastic adorns the machine.
“Next up, scarf shopping,” Jaejoong announces as he unzips his blue leather pocketbook. “Let’s head to Shinsa next!”
“I’ll carry your scarves if you carry these giant black CDs,” Yoochun offers, earning him a smack on the shoulder.
“Nice try,” Jaejoong says. “But just for insulting vinyl like that, you have to carry them all day.”
You’re up,
