[Team Two] You better keep up

Title: You better keep up

Summary: They get the announcement and it's a lot of emotions all at once.
A/N: I am late xD But I also really didn't want to skip again. But, with the news we just got I couldn't resist doing something. This is super quick, not proofread, and someday I'll do a better one of this topic, but for now I AM STILL NOT OK WITH ALL THAT IS GOING ON OMG! BOTH MY BIG JUNIOR BABY GROUPS! BOTH!

Closing his eyes for a moment, Juri felt the immense shock. All 15 members of SixTONES and Snowman had located a waiting room in the hospital with no people. They all kept looking at one another in shock, there was a hint of sadness, but mostly they all looked ready to cry. None of them had cracked yet.

They pushed a bunch of the mint green chairs into a close circle and they had settled themselves in them. They were all holding on to one another, Hokuto glued to Juri’s hip, along with Shintaro. Jesse and Taiga refused to let go of Kouchi, who was still shaking. Iwamoto had Sakuma in his lap, the slightly older male snuggled as closely as he could get into his chest. Koji, Meguro, and Raul were all clinging to Watanabe, who had refused to let go of Date’s hand. Fukazawa was curled up to Iwamoto’s side and Abe tucked in close to Fukazawa. None of the boys were far from one another, close enough to reach out and touch.

Fukazawa licked his dry lips, and swallowed. He looked up at each of them, the tight knot they had formed. It took him two times of clearing his throat before he finally managed to get any sound to come out of his throat. “So, August 8th.”

The words seemed to break the spell that had fallen over them. All of SixTONES immediately burst into tears, followed by all of Snowman. It was a powerful moment for all of them. Tears of joy and saddness, to the point that none of them knew which emotion was really causing them to cry.

They hadn’t expected what was to come, when Takizawa had sent for them to come to Johnny’s hospital room. The tears started before anyone else could say anything else, huge sobs came from them in both happiness and sadness. It was a bittersweet moment.

“We have to do this, we have to get stronger, all 15 of us.” Fukazawa forced himself to look at each of them individually, though his contacts burned and blurred from his tears.

“We can’t tell anyone?” Raul’s voice was small, and Watanabe let the young boy snuggle closer to him.

“You heard Takizawa, we will reveal it at Matsuri. No matter what happens to Johnny-san,” Juri had finally forced himself to speak. “We did it, and not just one of our groups, both.”

“They’re sending us all over the place, this will be the first time our company has pushed this much internationally.” Iwamoto was still crying, but he managed to get the words out.

They all nodded, it was a heavy burden to bear, but they had all wanted this. “You guys better keep up!” Taiga’s voice was fierce.

His tone had a ripple effect and soon their tears were dried and one by one giant smiles replaced them.

“Oii, the same to you, Snowman won’t just roll over and let you guys get away with it all,” Sakuma’s voice had wavered, but his determined face was firmly in place.

None of them were sure who started it, but suddenly they couldn’t stop laughing. Tears of joy mixed with their raucous laughter. Some of them tried to shush one another, Hokuto forcing a hand over Jesse’s mouth to try and keep his noises a bit quieter as the quiet hospital began to be overtaken with their noise. Iwamoto did the same to Sakuma, and Miyadate to Watanabe. The action caused more laughter. Slowly their tight knot became loser and they all relaxed.

“But, really this timing ...but, we gotta do it.” Shintaro forced himself to look serious for a moment. “I’m glad that it’s all of us.”

The words rang through them all, and not one of them argued. They had all been together for so long, it had seemed like an impossible dream for both groups to achieve the same level at once. Even with Snowman gaining new members, it still felt the same. Raul, Meguro, and Koji had all just fit in with their group right from the start. All 15 stood up, moving the chairs a bit apart and formed a giant circle. They were still laughing, but when Fukazawa and Juri put their hands in the middle everyone scrambled to get their hands on the others. They with a quick look around Fukazawa led them as they all let out a loud noise of glee.

“Well, we can’t tell anyone else much yet...but that doesn’t mean we don’t need to go out and have a celebration!” Jesse grinned at all of them. They all looked ridiculous, their eyes puffy and red from tears, but giant grins on their faces that wouldn’t go away.

“Right, well then, since Takizawa has dismissed us for the day, let’s go! Where’s a good place?” Watanabe looked expectantly at Jesse, who was already on his phone checking out possible places nearby.

They all laughed and pushed at one another as they started to leave the hospital. There was a lot of to come in the future, and it would be hard to keep it all a secret (thank goodness for their group chat) but whatever may come, both Snowman and SixTones were sure of one thing. Together they would take the world by storm.
