[team three] wars of men
Sorry for the delay!!! Once again I'm posting an introduction to a fic idea that I will probably never write. The idea is based on the manga Berserk.
Looking back one last time, Kirishima turns to leave the village that cast him aside. There’s nothing special about it, just another one to add to the list of places he’s fought for, that he’s defended with his life. That turned their swords on him when they found out what he was.
They’d paid him at least, for his efforts in fighting their war. They’d let him leave too, on the condition he did so peacefully.
Kirishima should have killed them. He should have burned the entire place to the ground. They wouldn’t have let him leave, they wouldn’t have paid him, if they weren’t planning on sending someone after him to take back the coins, maybe a pair of dragon wings as a trophy. He should have killed them, but what would be the point? Just another pile of bodies in his past.
He doesn’t like to kill, not really. But men will always war, there will always be money in lending his strength, his skills, his daggers.
He’ll kill the men they send for him and consider them even. And then he’ll don his cloak again, hood pulled high over his head to hide his horns, wings strapped to his back beneath it, and he’ll set out to find another army to hire him, another war to fight.
It's your turn
