[Team One]
I was going to write more of this but work is kicking my ass again but I didn't want to skip again so you just get a tiny blurb...
“She took another sip, and considered that maybe there would never be anyone to stop her from taking those steps into adulthood anymore…” Intouch scrunched up his nose when he read over Korn’s shoulder. “P’Korn you read such strange things all the time. They’re all deep and philosophical. It's making my head spin.”
“The complete opposite of your soap operas. They’re all shallow and superficial.” Korn countered and turned his head slightly to look at his boyfriend.
Intouch settled on the seat next to Korn. “And yet both provide some refuge from reality.”
“That they do indeed,” Korn hummed in agreement.
It was funny how both of them could be so different and yet so similar. It had made Korn believe in the saying that ‘opposites attract’. And Korn did think that their differences were what made their relationship interesting, while what they had in common made it work.
Intouch wrapped his arms around Korn. “P’Korn, my parents won’t be home for the weekend. Do you think you can come over? P’Ann said she’d like to see you again, too.”
“This weekend,” Korn thought for a moment. “Yeah. My father won’t be home until early on Sunday.” He could probably leave Krit and Kaat for a few hours.
“Is Friday night okay?” Intouch asked hopefully.
“I’ll be there,” Korn nodded.
Upon hearing Korn’s confirmation, Intouch’s face lit up with a smile. “I can’t wait for Friday now.”
Korn gave Intouch a smile in return.
The weekend couldn’t come fast enough.
Your turn, senpai!
