[Team three] vacuuming the conversation

Back by no demand at all (lol): more Bakuiida roommates 😀

MHA, g-rated, very short

"She would never return again" is all that Bakugou manages to hear over the roar of the vacuum cleaner.

He has no idea why Iida is trying to hold a conversation with him while he's trying to clean the living room, and he also has no idea what his roommate is even rambling about. Every now and then, Bakugou glances up from the floor to see Iida continuing to wave his arms around as usual, looking like the stodgiest mime in the history of mimes.

Bakugou hunches his shoulders and ignores him. There's a hard-to-reach spot by the couch he needs to concentrate on.

"...legal paperwork for the snake" he catches Iida say a few minutes later.

What the absolute fuck?

He looks up again, and can see Iida readjust his glasses as he continues speaking. His eyes look strangely misty.

Okay, now he definitely does not want to know what Iida is passionately recapping.

Bakugou pulls out the vacuum hose in order to get the dust settled on the baseboards around the room.

When Bakugou finally switches the vacuum off twenty minutes later, Iida has apparently reached the end of his story as well.

"And so, that's why I'll never look at paper plates the same way again."

Bakugou glares at his crazy roommate for a long moment as he neatly folds up the vacuum cord.

Iida, like many of Bakugou's other friends, seems to have built up a tolerance to all of Bakugou's most intimidating facial expressions, so he's not at all fazed by the glare. Bakugou decides he's going to have to spend some extra time with the bathroom mirror later to develop newer, more terrifying faces.

"So how was your day?"
