[Team three] the worst way to say hello (part 3)

I intended to actually move the plot forward this time, but work got busy, so more bloody Bakugou musing it is!

Tdbk, very short, cw: blood

He thinks it might be too late for that already. Maybe he's lost too much blood. What good will any help do when it arrives?

Bakugou instead chooses to focus on Todoroki's face, burning it into his memory, even though he currently looks frantic.

It's not a good look.

Bakugou much prefers Todoroki's signature stone faced mask, the one that always looks calm and in control of every situation. Or better yet, Bakugou loved the small smirks he used to throw his way whenever they were teasing each other. He loved the way Todoroki's eyes sparkled at the sight of a bowl full of soba.

Bakugou's not a fan of this new look, the way his face pales (even the scar) to a bloodless white, and his lips curl into a frown.

"Bakugou," Todoroki says.

It's difficult to focus on the words when Bakugou is still caught up in reminiscing over his ex-boyfriend's limited range of facial expressions.

"Bakugou, I've got to cauterize the wound," Todoroki continues. "So you don't bleed out before the paramedics get here."

Oh right, Bakugou had already forgotten about the frantic emergency call. When did Todoroki even hang up the phone?

He's vaguely aware of the sensation of Todoroki's fingers against his skin, still pressed against the spot where the knife had pierced Bakugou. Todoroki's fingers are fighting a losing battle to try to keep the blood from flowing out. They're probably a slippery red by now.

Bakugou doesn't move his head to look though. He's too tired.

"It's going to hurt," Todoroki announces.

That's fine, Bakugou says. Or maybe just thinks it. He doesn't know anymore.

But it can't get much worse than this.

You're up @meowmeg!
