[team three] expectations

Posting this directly because I don't really have another place to post it at the moment?
The past... three or so days... I've been deep in a Theory of Love spiral before finishing it today, so a short Un/Two piece because I enjoyed them.

“Audience expectations are important to consider.” Un’s breath is hot on the skin where he’s leaning over Two’s shoulder. He’s looking at the monitor, of course, but his closeness is electric. “As a storyteller, you make a promise to the audience and it should be fulfilled, right? It’s the same when you’re shooting. Everything needs to happen for a reason.”

Two isn’t quite listening — he’s mildly blue screening from the sensation on his neck — but he manages to scramble together some meaning from the words after staring intently at the monitor for a few seconds. “So… There would be no reason to focus on, say, a drink being poured, if nothing really happens with the drink.”

Un chuckles — his breath tickling Two’s skin again. “Yes, exactly like that. So let’s see, move the camera over there, and we’ll get some different shots.” He points, and Two reluctantly gets off his chair to move the camera, instantly missing the warmth of his boyfriend standing behind him.

“Now what—” He turns, and startles at the realization that Un is once again right behind him. “Oh. Hello again.”

“Hello,” says Un, a mischievous smile playing on his lips. He touches Two’s shoulder, then leans forward and gives him a kiss. Two is still not used to it. He freezes up, silently berating himself every time he does. He was always so confident in the past, when it didn’t mean anything other than getting laid with a hot girl, but he gets a boyfriend and is immediately reduced to a bumbling mess. It feels kind of unfair — but then Un kisses him again and he warms up, melting into it. Maybe he can handle a little bit of embarrassment for the most lovely man he has the great fortune to love.
