[team 1] appeal
“Again? Already?” and Tamamori sighs with practiced exasperation as his splays his fingers across Miyata’s chest in attempt to push him away. Unfortunately Miyata just grasps tightly at Tamamori’s wrist and uses it as an anchor to pull the other in and flush against him, murmours seductively “There’s heavy cloud coverage no one will see.”
It’s a convincing argument and Tamamori blames it on the Moon’s weaker gravity how Miyata leaves him floating weightless in happiness.
In other ways Miyata is more active too; he teaches Tamamori - to scared to demonstrate - how the surf off the tip of the crater at the ocean of storms and ride down on the moon dust. When a meteor shower swings close he produces a fishing rod as if by magic and calls Tamamori a natural as they throw the line up and fish out the ones of alien matter that reflect light iridescent like stars.
Tamamori is aware of the ulterior motive, picks up on the slight forcefulness in Miyata’s cheerful comments about how fun it all is, how it's perhaps better here than on Earth and certainly better than Mars, lists all the more things they could do if they had the time. Tamamori knowns he should tell Miyata to stop the unneeded desperate appeal, drop the pressed on smile, but he’s too partial to being spoilt.
Later Miyata holds Tamamori close as he drifts off and he asks softly with hopeful eyes when Tamamori has to leave - it’s the first time he’s asked since Tamamori landed.
“It’s creepy how you never sleep and just watch me.” Tamamori replies automatically but then shortly and shyly answers in the morning both hoping that on their little world of night and space morning might never come.
