[Team 2] Wonder
Decided to write something less crack than usual :x
Before that day, Kitayama remembers days filled with routines, routine, routines: same old, same old.
They get a concert sometimes, but other than that it's the usual Shounen Club filming every month and the magazine shoots and not much else.
"I wonder," Fujigaya laughs to him one day as they bustle off the Shounen Club stage at NHK Hall. "Will we ever get sick of this?"
"Will you?" Kitayama returns, and Fujigaya's smile drops right off his face as his expression turns pensive. He remains silent all the way until they're about to leave the dressing room, sparkly costumes off and sunglasses on.
"I don't know," he says, and Kitayama feels a sliver of fear cross his mind. Will they ever make it? Groups with members younger than them and newer than them do so well on the big stages, and he's been on the one in NHK Hall for so long that he knows every single scuff and crack on the stage.
Be strong, Tanaka Koki tells Fujigaya some time later, but Kitayama keeps wondering how long more he can keep it up.
And then that day comes all wrapped up in a manila envelope, and Kitayama finally stops wondering and starts dreaming.
