[Team 2] Of Whines and Fuzzy Feelings
A somewhat sequel to The Miyata Mug 8D;;
At work, Miyata does exactly as he promised Tamamori after he had unpacked his birthday present from its wrapping and uses the mug all the time. In the process, he ended up abandoning the polka-dotted one Mama Miyata had bought when they had first become Kis-My-Ft2 and had gotten their own dressing room, as well as the purple one Yokoo and Mama Yokoo had bought to celebrate their getting member colours.
"Really, Miyata?" Fujigaya had complained, frowning in consternation. "It's seriously an ugly mug. I wouldn't be caught dead drinking from it."
"It's a good thing I'm not you then," Miyata had cheekily replied, sticking his tongue out maturely. Fujigaya turned away, annoyed but knowing he wasn't going to be able to talk any fashion sense into Miyata, not with the way he was clinging to the mug as though it were a precious jewel.
(To Miyata, it may as well have been a precious jewel: it had been made by Tamamori's own hands, which made it the most precious thing in the world to Miyata. Tamamori, after all, did not just make things for anyone, ever.)
"Really, Miyacchi?" Tamamori had whined - in private, because he didn't want the others to find out he had made it and Miyata hadn't told anyone - frowning in frustration. "Fujigaya's whining is becoming really annoying! Just take the damn mug home already!"
Miyata pouted at his best friend, adamantly crying, "But then I can't show off my special mug!" And because Miyata looked so(cu-)pitiful - not cute, he reminded himself, not. cute. - Tamamori merely sighed and gave up trying to get Miyata to take the mug home.
(Besides, Tamamori later admitted to himself under the cover of darkness, it made him feel warm and fuzzy inside whenever he saw Miyata lounging in the dressing room, taking a sip of tea from the strangely coloured mug - almost like how he expected lo- NO. NOT LOVE. Definitely not love.)
