[Team Two] Wubby
I don't even know.
He won't sleep alone. In fact, he can't. It's so hard for Taipi to make it through the night without that one thing, that one comfort that lends itself for him to fall into a deep slumber. But as he digs through his blankets to find it and comes up empty-handed, his heart speeds up and his hands begin to sweat.
Kitayama and Yokoo are the only ones that know about this thing. Kitayama found out by chance (and is keeping the secret under threat of blackmail) and Taipi told Yokoo freely, as it was one of those things that only best friends shared.
So he was limited to calling two people when it came to his current problem, and hell would freeze over before he'd call Kitayama with this problem (he called him once when he got his foot stuck in a gutter drain and Kitayama mocked him for weeks).
"Yokoo, I lost my bear again," Taipi whines thinly as Yokoo sighs and chuckles.
"I'll be over in thirty minutes," Yokoo replies, this complaint not unusual for Taipi, who finds it hard to sleep on tour frequently and will sneak into others' beds just to have a presence near him in order to fall asleep.
---
Yokoo arrives with two packs of spicy corn chips, which Taipi promptly grabs and begins to tear into, and a six-pack of beer. The house looks like a hurricane has hit it in Taipi's haste to find his bear.
"Checked all the usual places?" Yokoo asks, popping open his beer.
Taipi nods sadly as Tinkerbell plops down on the couch next to him as if sensing his sadness.
"This is going to be a long night," Taipi sighs, flipping on the television as Yokoo sits down next to Taipi, Tinkerbell half on each of their laps.
"Ooh look a AKB 48 variety show marathon" Yokoo screeches excitedly and flings himself down, slumping over into a more comfortable position.
Taipi groans but laughs, shrugging as he opens his second beer.
--
"I still didn't find my bear," Taipi mumbles as Yokoo, who handles his liquor far better, hooks his arms under Taipi to drag him to bed.
"I'm sure you'll find it tomorrow when Tinkerbell decides to give it back," Yokoo replies and Taipi looks mournfully at his little dog napping peacefully under his end table.
"I guess, but I need something or I can't sleep but I'm so tired," Taipi whines as Yokoo lets him down on the bed, slurring his words slightly as Yokoo arranges the blankets around him.
"No," Taipi grabs Yokoo's sleeve as Yokoo turns to leave the room and let Taipi sleep. Taipi seems to have other plans as he tugs Yokoo down to the bed and slides closer to him. "Tell me a story," Taipi says, blinking sleepily as his eyelids droop.
Yokoo begins to retell the story of a random American movie he saw on a cable channel a few days ago, something about zombies and love triangles and Taipi nods, finally motioning after around ten minutes for Yokoo to finish his story.
"You'll do," Taipi mumbles, scooting over and flinging his arms around Yokoo who doesn't protest as Taipi plasters himself against Yokoo's back. "Although you aren't as squishy as Kuma-chan," Taipi yawns into Yokoo's hair, arms growing limp as tiny snores escape his lips.
Yokoo smiles into the dark.
Your move,
