[Team 2] Vampire High School Stories - Taste
Uh I guess since the 3 days are over now, it's my turn?
Short blurb from the Vampire High School AU I wrote stuff in before.
Fear could be a powerful stimulant for some things but for others it was quite the opposite.
“If you take blood from a person who’s afraid of you it tastes pretty bad,” Watanabe commented. “Very sour and a little foul, too.” He chewed on his straw. “Our master made us drink that once in order for us to learn about it. And about the importance of being charming.”
Abe frowned, “That sounds pretty evil if you think about it, doesn’t it?”
Fukazawa shrugged, “We’re called creatures of the night. That kind of implies we’re at least somewhat evil, no? With you it’s different by the way.”
“Huh? How?” Abe blinked.
“That’s because you’re not a normal human,” Miyadate pointed out. “Abecchi, you keep forgetting you aren’t.”
“Oh that’s right. Well uh, what does my blood taste like then?” he asked.
Watanabe snorted, “Don’t look at me, how should I know?”
Laughing sheepishly, Abe turned to Fukazawa, “Fukka.”
Grinning, Fukazawa replied, “Good.”
“Fukka, that doesn’t really help or say anything,” Miyadate rolled his eyes.
“It tastes like magic,” Fukazawa’s grin widened to show his fangs.
That earned him a slap on the back of his head from Watanabe and a kick against his chair from Miyadate. Abe was laughing softly and tried to calm people down again.
“Did I miss something good?” Sakuma walked into the classroom and dropped a bag onto the table in front of Abe. Then he sat down at his own table and pulled out his lunch. He had lost at rock, paper, scissors and had gone to get food for Abe and himself. The rest of them didn’t need to really eat after all. Although he had gotten snacks for them - for fun.
“Not really,” Miyadate replied.
Watanabe was distracted by Sakuma’s bag. “Oh, you brought us stuff, too?”
“Yup. Have at it,” he put the snacks onto the table.
Abe looked at the clock then, “Didn’t you take longer than usual? Was there a line?”
That made Watanabe stop in his tracks, “Don’t tell me...” He made a grab for Sakuma but the other moved out of the way.
“Wh-What?”
“Ryota, hold him,” Watanabe said and while Miyadate made sure Sakuma couldn’t move, Watanabe yanked down the other’s collar. “I knew it!”
Fukazawa and Abe leaned over to look. Sure enough there were twin puncture holes on Sakuma’s neck, which were still healing and fading away. Sakuma stopped struggling and sighed. “Alright, alright. Yes.”
Arms were draped around Fukazawa’s and Abe’s shoulders from behind. “You want to know when blood tastes the best then?” a new voice asked. “When the person is is about to-”
“Don’t say it, Hikaru! I dare you!” Watanabe roared.
Iwamoto grinned and whispered into Abe’s ear, “Come.” Then he took off to escape Watanabe’s wrath.
Ok, your turn
