Emoto Tokio just keeps popping up in Fujigaya's dramas (Risou no Musuko, Beginners, X Hospital) and they seem really close and call each other "Tokki" and "Tai-chan" and are super cute together and I ship Fujigaya with all of his co-actors basically. This doesn't really go anywhere though b/c I don't actually ship them hard enough to write anything plotty, oh well. ~_~
~
Enough time spent working in the industry and you really do start seeing the same faces. Fujigaya doesn't consider himself a veteran or anything, but he's already started worked with a good handful of people twice if not more often. That's why he's not even a little bit surprised when Tokio walks onto the set of X Hospital, greeting the staff with the politest of keigos and a casual "yo!" for him.
"My stalker is here!" he laughs, pulling Tokio into a one-armed hug.
Tokio pushes him away and scowls. "Please, don't flatter yourself."
"I know you want a piece of this." Fujigaya attempts a hip roll like he'd do at a concert, but ruins it because he's laughing too hard, and Tokio shoves at him again.
It's nice to work with someone you're close to, Fujigaya thinks as they breeze through all their scenes together, dialogue meshing well because it doesn't take much acting to play the parts of friends and coworkers.
But then Tokio wraps up his part of the filming and decides to wait for Fujigaya to finish so they can go out to eat afterwards, and Fujigaya thinks maybe it's a terrible idea to work with friends because Tokio pulls dumb faces at him and puts bunny ears behind the AD-san and generally acts like a 5-year-old. It's impossible to work this way, with laughter threatening to bubble out when he's supposed to look terrified.
"I'm working you shit," Fujigaya scolds when he goes on break, and Tokio just snickers at him.
"I'm just getting you back for all the times you trolled me," he defends, sticking out his tongue.
