[Team 1] Just like this night

I don't know how this one happened.

He's going to have a lot of making up to do when he gets back. Iwamoto sighs when he looks at his schedule again. It’s the first time he’s away without any of the others around, for an extended period of time. Of course drama filming is fun and he gets along with the others really well but it’s just not the same. After being with at least parts of his unit for virtually all of the previous year, not seeing any of them for months is starting to get to him.

When he reads the others’ mails, telling him about what they have been up to in their changing room or what the show was like and everything, he knows they all mean well, he knows they want to keep him up to date but it also makes him feel a little lonely.

Iwamoto misses Watanabe’s chatter and the other bitching at people for making a mess in the changing room. He misses seeing the other run around basically naked, even if there are senpai around (although considering it’s really just ABC-Z, it’s not really a problem). There’s also just something lacking when he doesn’t see Abe trying to study somewhere despite there being chaos and mayhem around him. Also Abe’s smile and occasional idiotic remarks that make everyone crack up or gang up on him.

Going shopping with Fukasawa and talking to the other about their group and about their activities or just listening to Fukasawa’s silly jokes and rants is also something he hasn’t gotten to do for a while, not to mention just hanging out with Miyadate and fooling around with the other, fooling around with his best friend, going to eat and relaxing.

And then there’s Sakuma. Iwamoto puts his phone down. All of them write their emails like there’s nothing wrong or anything but with the other four, Iwamoto can see that there are subtle hints of ‘come back soon’ and ‘we miss you’ in there along with their well wishes and ‘do your best, leader’s. Only Sakuma’s mails sound so genuinely positive. It’s exactly how the other sounds in real life when he’s talking, so there’s nothing wrong exactly but still, they bother Iwamoto the most. They bother him the most because there should be more.

Of course Iwamoto would never admit it first, that he misses their hot baths together, their outings at sometimes crazy times of the day or week, even watching anime together with the other at Sakuma’s place. And the way Sakuma feels against him, in his arms.

Iwamoto blinks when he hears the door to the hotel room open. Since filming takes long sometimes and the kansai boys need to stay at a hotel for the duration of it anyways, he and Hokuto sometimes stay as well, just so that they can start filming again early in the morning and still get some sleep because going home and back would just mean only getting about an hour or two a night because of commuting time. Hokuto isn’t scheduled to be here tonight though, having gone back for school and Johnny’s World shows.

Walking over to the door, he blinks when the door opens. “What- How did you get-?”

Sakuma smiles and hands the other the keycard. “Met Hokuto at Johnny’s World today. He said you might want some company.” The other takes off his hat and fluff his hair. “Man, it’s gotten cold outside lately.”

A smile tugs on Iwamoto’s lips and he puts the card onto the table before he wraps his arms around the other, “I’m sure we can think of something to warm you up again.”

“Cocoa?” Sakuma jokes but his body is leaning into Iwamoto’s embrace already.

“Not quite,” Iwamoto chuckles softly and then tells Sakuma to take off his clothes and get ready for the night. He goes to lie down on the bed and closes his eyes as the other goes about doing just that. His eyes open when he feels the mattress shifting.

Opening his arms, he waits until Sakuma’s adjusted his position and gotten comfortable and then pulls the blanket over both of them before he wraps his arms around the other. Sakuma has the perfect size for this, he fits snuggly against Iwamoto’s body. The other good thing about the other is that he never stays still long enough for Iwamoto’s arm to fall asleep so the position never gets uncomfortable.

When Sakuma decides its time to move, Iwamoto can barely blink before a pair of lips brushes against his. He looks down at the other, who smiles at him.

“Sorry. Been wanting to do that for so long.”

“You never say you miss me when you mail or call me,” Iwamoto pointed out.

“I try not to think about it. Because it makes things worse. It’s better to tell you those things in person, when I can actually do something about it,” Sakuma mutters and buries his face in the crook of Iwamoto’s neck. “Not thinking about missing you makes it less bad.”

The corners of Iwamoto’s eyes crinkle a little when he smiles at the other’s words. “That’s so much like you.” He initiates a kiss this time around, it’s short and sweet. Just like this night.
