[Team Three] Dead Of Night
My ending word was 'lady killer' so NATURALLY. I turned Hokuto into jack the ripper... sort of.
Hokuto the lady killer. They all call him that, they all think it’s just because he’s good with women. Oh they have no idea just what that name truly means to him, none of them know that he leaves in the dead of night and prowls the night. Nobody knows that during these night prowls he has a goal in mind, that he searches for the prostitutes around town and lures them into dark alley’s before quickly slashing their throats and leaving them in a pool of their own blood.
Hokuto can’t remember when this started, when he decided to help the world by getting rid of such vile temptations. The only thing that Hokuto can really remember is how it felt the first time he took a life, the way she shuddered beneath him before going completely still, the warmth of her blood seeping through his fingers. He didn’t realize what he had done until the next morning, but all he could say for sure was that he felt as if he’d done the world a favor.
His friends didn’t know anything had happened, and when there were reports about a murder downtown, he just grinned to himself and began planning to himself about the next attack. And so he finds himself creeping along the streets in the dead of night, searching for his next victim. He finds her easily enough, knowing the moment she smiles and beckons him over that this one will be the most fun.
He grins again, pulling her along behind him as they head off further into the darkness. Her screams are almost beautiful, and Hokuto doesn’t think he’ll ever be able to stop. Such vile temptation was everywhere, and it was his duty to rid the earth of them.

the sociopathic implication of this line alone gives so much feeling to this small slice of life (hahaha pun). how hokuto thinks he's doing something good, a la boondock saints, only to him he's not doing anything wrong, doing the world a favor by ridding it of its "filth" (i wrote a paper on this in abnormal psychology lmao). also i like that you didn't address whether he had sex with them or not first, leaving that possibility to the imagination. all the darkness yesssssss.
