A happy kind of snort leaks around the open door of which Ohkura assumes leads to an en suite - or maybe it's a walk in wardrobe - Ohkura only skimmed the briefing file. It's a rush job.
It's a familiar snort too and Ohkura's suspicion is correct as Junno slides casually into the bedroom. All in sleek anonymous black as is the predictable fashion with hired killers. Ohkura matches.
"A gun? Really? How uncouth of you Tacchon."
Double bookings are an annoyance in this line of work but unfortunately not an uncommon occurrence. If one person in this sick world finds your death a necessary need it's a high probability that another will too.
"I brought a silencer." Ohkura shrugs one shouldered, the other holding steady, barrel of the gun firmly aimed at the sleeping figure of his target a few feet away. The gun really is an displeasure. All the blood and mess. It's going to ruin the white cloud like bed. Shame and pity for it.
"Still. Not your usual style. Normally you have more subtlety than this." Junno comments as he comes around the room to Ohkura's side.
"It's not supposed to be subtle. The client wanted to send a message, and what's the saying — the customer's always right."
"Gunning for a promotion are we?" And Ohkura can see Junno's shit eating grin from the corner of his eye. He fights back a laugh of his own as he pulls the trigger. He's not supposed to enjoy this. It's work.
"Nice job," Junno starts, and then sighs happily "I'm free for the evening now thanks to you, want to get a drink?" Ohkura should say no. Junno's the competition. Junno carries around poison in a god damn fanny pack. But—
There's something irresistible in how only Junno can smile so easily and naturally in the wake of death and cadavers.
"Sure." Ohkura replies as he hopes Junno picks a place that serves food. Strangely Ohkura still always has an appetitive after murder.

Two weeks later Ohkura is fidgeting with the placement of a suicide note (he knew that night class in forgery would pay off) and finessing the details of the scene when Junno strides into the room.
"Another double booking?" Ohkura asks once he sweeps the room a final time for any tells of his presence. The slump of the corpse. The syringe. The note. Perfect. He'll only get the bonus once the police buy it as a suicide.
"Not this time, I followed you." Junno explains with a bright smile, "Free for dinner?"
Being stalked by an assassin shouldn't be quite so charming.
