“Meant to be together,” Jinguji says, voice hushed, quiet, barely a whisper as he hovers over the object of desire. His breath is tight in his chest, a kind of tightness that he has not known before. Of course, he has been seized with desire before, this is not the first time in his life—but it is indeed the first time that it has reached such intensity. Gentle but curious hands come to first frame Genki’s face, admiring it with such scrutiny that he had not ever used before. Lips curve up, mischievous as he dips in, claiming lips for his very own. This is by no means the first time that their lips have met in such a union, but as with each time, Jinguji lingers, as he wants to experience them fully.

When he pulls away, he notices that Genki’s arms have loosely come around his shoulders and that’s when he can’t do anything but give the older male another sly grin as he slides out of his hold and slinks beside him. Jinguji pulls Genki close to his chest and nods his head, as if he had been calculating something.

“I should have figured that you would believe in things like fate,” he resigns with a sigh, “I still don’t know how I feel about the matter…” He smiles a bit, and at this, Genki whines, slightly.

“Puu,” he exasperates, familiarly enough. He doesn’t have to say much more for Jinguji to press a kiss to his temple and squeeze him tight.

“If something like fate does exist, then it exists solely so that I can be with you like this!” There’s a quiet laugh on his part as he nuzzles his face into Genki’s shoulder and yawns a bit.

“You’re tired?” Genki asks, still reflecting on their conversation more than anything else.

“A little,” Jinguji admits, “But I’ll try to stay awake, for… your sake…” He yawns as he speaks again, swiftly turning it into a laugh as he realizes what he is doing.

“Jinguji,” Genki starts again, “If it’s not fate, I’m really glad that we were able to make decisions that lead to meeting each other like this,” he smiles a bit, adding, “Since we’ve become close, I started to realize that I can’t imagine what it would be like without you.”

Jinguji understands the sentiment and nods his head as he presses a ginger kiss to Genki’s shoulder. He moves so that he’s resting against his shoulder, but still able to look up at the older of the pair. He brushes a hand into his locks, moving a strand out of the way as he gazes fondly upon his better half. The words warm his heart, and quietly, Jinguji nips at the shell of Genki's ear, humming, “What will we do tomorrow?”
