[Team Two] 4 Times Miyata Actually Did Not Watch Tamamori and 1 Time He Did Nothing But That
Taking my turn~~
Haven't been able to write much lately but didn't want to skip again because I really like shiritori :3 ♥ Looking forward to the shuffle!
This contains teeny tiny spoilers (DVD/Blu-Ray footage). So don't read if you mind those.
That was one of the things fans didn’t get to see or maybe didn’t notice. It was different from what their dreams were all about after all, what their image of this was. Miyata on the other hand, had known these two long enough to notice these things, see these things.
Also, it wasn’t like he didn’t know about these kinds of things happening. He’d experienced similar things over the years. It wasn’t uncommon. Actually someone had given it a name somewhere along the way, the ‘Symmetry Effect’.
He smiled when the two people in question did exactly the same movement at almost exactly the same time, despite sitting on opposite ends of the room.
It didn’t stop there though. The same movements, the same routines even. Miyata wondered whether they had noticed or whether it was something that did not really register in either of their minds. He figured that it was probably the latter. He didn’t think that Fujigaya noticed how he was starting to move the same way as Kitayama from time to time. Or how his warm-up stretching routine was exactly the same as the other’s. Miyata also didn’t think that Kitayama had noticed how he’d think of doing things at about the same time as Fujigaya did. Like their massage sessions and the throat treatment with the inhalators.
“Gaya-san and Mitsu are really close without being close, right?” He blurted out accidentally while he was watching them from one of the sofas.
Two heads simultaneously turned his way and he laughed when the expressions on their faces were the same. Fujigaya then shot Kitayama a look, which Kitayama replied to with a look of his own and a shrug and both turned back around to go back to what they had been doing - setting their hair and doing their make-up before the show.

All of them were pretty diligent but Miyata thought how Senga was probably the most diligent among them all. Of course there was the issue of time but the amount of practice Senga managed to squeeze in even with their schedule being as busy as it was right now, was admirable. Miyata couldn’t do anything but admire the other at least.
He watched from outside the room how Senga repeated the chords over and over again, mouthed the song lyrics to himself as he did so. There was a focused and serious expression on the other’s face, one that was different from when Senga was dancing in all earnest and yet not. There was the same energy and passion in his eyes, the same pride, the same will to succeed. Miyata balled his fists and silently cheered his friend and groupmate on.

Yokoo was a lot of fun to watch these days. Or more like, it made one really happy to watch the other these days. Although maybe there was some amusement mixed in there somewhere. Miyata at least, couldn’t help but feel at least a little bit amused whenever the other went into ‘Vibration Mode’ before BUSAIKU did something on UTAGE.
As for the happy part, watching Yokoo made Miyata feel at ease and at peace lately because those were the feelings that the other radiated, at least when the rest of Kisumai was around. Before, Yokoo had often hidden himself - maybe without noticing after having done it for so long. And now he was free. He could be himself, he could laugh or make faces and be an idiot and he could sing, too. Everyone, their group, the fans, their senpai, other people, accepted him the way he was and it had taken a burden off his whole being really. Miyata figured that people had accepted the other as he was before - especially their group - but now it was more prominent. Yokoo had been given his place to be, his place to shine, in a way. Or maybe not in a way but actually and as a fact.
Right now, Yokoo was on vibration mode again but he was vibrating for different reasons. He wasn’t nervous but he was excited. It was rather contagious.
“Ready to go out there and meet the fans, Yokoo-san?” Miyata smiled at the other.
Grinning, Yokoo replied, “Burning for it.”
“I can tell.”

Nikaido was always fun and interesting to watch because the other was doing a lot of things - when he was awake that is. At other times he and Senga would just be passed out on one of the sofas. Maybe because they hadn’t exactly been sleeping when they had been supposed to. Miyata could understand. Sometimes he didn’t do that either. Although now with them getting single rooms, things had changed a little bit - Tamamori was a lazy one after all.
With Nikaido, it was also very evident how there seemed to be a switch that was flipped on and off. One moment he could be quiet and serious and the other his voice would fill the whole room and the hallway beyond, with laughter or nonsense.
Although some of the others complained about it, Miyata knew that none of them really minded it and that it had already become a part of everyone’s daily routine. Everyone would always comment on how, “Oh, it’s quiet in here. Nika must be elsewhere?” or “Ah, Nika’s asleep? That’s why it’s so quiet, huh?” They all said it with love.
You couldn’t help but love the other really. Miyata, too, loved Nikaido lots.

“What do you think you’ve been doing? Looking at other people so much.” Tamamori appeared in front of Miyata and then unceremoniously flopped down, straight into Miyata’s lap. “You’re being creepy and gross, Toshi.”
“Hi there, Yuu~uutaa~.” Miyata said the other’s name in a sing-song voice. “Aw, don’t worry, the person I like looking at the most is still you.” His arms automatically came around the other to hold him. He smiled brightly at Tamamori, who just gave him a half-annoyed and half-satisfied sounding snort.
“Idiot.” Tamamori muttered behind his mask. He then proceeded to take it off and leaned down closer towards Miyata’s face.
Miyata blinked. “You sure you want us to stay like this? There are so many cameras around. They could be coming in any time soon.”
“Wouldn’t be the first time I sat on you in a making, would it? So who cares.” Tamamori shrugged. One of his eyebrows twitched in annoyance. Probably because one, Miyata had just stopped him before he could kiss him and two because somewhere at the back of his mind he knew that Miyata was probably right and that irked him.
“I thought you’d care because you know, you’re Kisumai’s Cool Idol Prince Tamamori Yuta after all. I certainly don’t care.” Miyata laughed and earned himself a smack on the head.
“Idiot.” Tamamori muttered and wrapped his arms around the other’s shoulders. “Now shut up and kiss me.” He demanded from Miyata.
Miyata obliged. Who was he to say no. Plus, Tamamori looked so inviting right now. The other’s eyes were mellow and Tamamori’s body was all soft and relaxed, too. The other had probably gotten a massage just before, right after Senga had woken him up with a random dance attack - it was one of the many things that happened in the Kisumai changing room on a semi-frequent basis, yes.
After a few kisses, Tamamori fell asleep on him and Miyata somehow managed to shift the other into a horizontal position, stretched out on the sofa. Just in case the cameras did come in. Declarations of love and all that aside, some things he didn’t want to share with the fans.
Tamamori was his. And some things weren’t for other people’s eyes to see. Those things were things only he was able and allowed to see.
He stroked Tamamori’s hair gently - the other’s head was bedded on his lap - and smiled. Yes, some things were for his eyes only. And he’d never grow tired of looking at those things. He’d never get tired of looking at Tamamori ever.
I don't know if someone wants to go still?
