Probably nobody remembers that Magic!verse I'd begun to develop yonks ago with Johnny's... But I've brought it back 8) This time for VIXX. I have no idea if anyone does remember, and if I ever wrote an explanation of how the AU worked, so if you're intrigued, poke me for more detail (maybe).
Anyway, with this drabble, I proclaim Team SONIC a-GO!
He sees red, the flames licking at the rafters before curling around the wooden beams like a blanket. It smooths out, much like a hand smoothing down wrinkled fabric, and it ripples, like flowing lava.
He stares in awe, fascinated by the level of control Hakyeon is exercising over his ability.
And then it sizzles as a wave washes over the fire.
"How many times do I have to tell you not to play with the structure of the house?" he hears Taekwoon chide softly, although there is little anger in his voice. "You're so easily distracted - one butterfly and our house could burn down."
"But a butterfly won't find its way into the house," Hakyeon replies, his voice bright and not at all repentant. "Besides, I won't burn the house down - I have excellent control, even when I'm distracted, else I'd have started a forest fire when I was training Wonshik and Hongbin."
Sanghyuk raises an eyebrow, slightly skeptical because this was Cha Hakyeon they were talking about. There is no telling what could happen when Cha Hakyeon was involved. Clearly, Taekwoon agrees, judging from the way he raises an eyebrow, but no more is said on the matter.
Instead, Taekwoon turns to go back into the kitchen, where he had been feeding the stray kitten that had followed him home, and Hakyeon follows him happily, chattering away about anything that came to mind.
