[Team One] In which Taiga makes a new friend
Hello, first time participating and all that. Today was an entrance exam day at my campus and I keep thinking I should write a uni au so... It's short and pointless?
”The man was awake. I mean, at least his eyes were open and stuff, but he didn’t move during the whole lesson. I swear, not an inch! And the way he talked, or more like…”
At that point Kouchi tuned out Shoki’s blabbering about the new American professor. There were more interesting things happening around them, today even more so than usually. The entrance exams had brought dozens of high school kids, with varying degrees of nervousness and panic on their faces, to their campus.
Jesse turned away from Shoki, already on the verge of saying something when he suddenly froze, his eyes growing wide with surprise.
“…Isn’t that Taiga?”
The rest of the group all turned to look into the direction Jesse pointed at.
“It is Taiga!”
“Who’s the other one?”
“Isn’t he with the exam takers? Why isn’t he wearing a school uniform?”
“Since when has Taiga had other friends besides us?”
“Wait, where are they?”
At the exact moment Jesse pointed out Taiga and the other boy to Hokuto, Taiga glanced at them over his shoulder, frowned and shook his head slightly after concentrating again on the boy he was talking with.
“There’s no way he could’ve heard us, right?” Juri asked, but nobody had time to answer before Jesse stepped forward, already looking way too excited.
“Challenge accepted!” he announced. “Come on everybody, let’s go embarrass Taiga in front of his new friend!”
