[Team Four] Twenty
Happy belated 20th birthday to Fuma, happy birthday in advance to Kento and happy Fumaken week \o/ Twenty Kenty Shining Star is the name of the cocktail that Kento's father created for his 20th birthday, while the other one is a product of my imagination xD; This is full of pointless fluff.
Pictures speak more than a thousand words, but neither pictures nor words are enough to convey how blissful he feels right now. Humming a random tune under his breath, he’s focused on pouring the pancake batter into the pan and doesn’t notice a presence behind him until a familiar pair of arms slides around his waist and he is enveloped in a warm embrace.
“Someone is happy today.” Fuma quips, planting a quick kiss on Kento’s cheek before resting his chin on his shoulder. “That smells good.”
“Figures that you’ll get up when you smell food.” Kento chuckles softly as he leans back into Fuma’s embrace, revelling in the warmth that he radiates. An involuntary shudder runs down his spine when Fuma gives up on playing with the hem of his shirt, choosing to slide his hand underneath and ghost his fingers over the sensitive skin of his hipbone. “Or were you talking about me?”
Fuma buries his nose in Kento’s neck and takes a deep breath. “Nope, not you.”
Kento almost snorts with laughter at Fuma’s reply and playfully bumps him away with his shoulder. Checking that the pancakes are golden brown on one side, Kento deftly flips them over and puts the spatula down, before turning around to wrap his arms around Fuma’s neck. Threading his fingers in Fuma’s hair, he tugs him forward to kiss him on the lips. “Good morning. How are you feeling?”
“Better. At least it doesn’t feel like someone is trying to drill a hole in my head anymore.” Recalling the events of the past night, Fuma winces slightly. “Did I do anything to embarrass myself?”
“Not more than you already do.”
“I don’t think I even had that much to drink though...” Fuma trails off as a thought suddenly pops into his mind and he frowns at Kento. “That cocktail that you made for me… Fumatan Turns 20 Tw/Nty Party? Did you spike it?”
“I spiked it with my love.” Even though Fuma knows that Kento would have felt it, given the way their bodies were pressed together, he rolls his eyes and tries to pretend his heart didn’t speed up at the sweet words. Engrossed in his own thoughts, he almost misses Kento’s next words. “Did you like it?” The question is posed as if it were merely an afterthought but Fuma knows how long Kento spent trying to create a special cocktail for his 20th birthday, how worried he had been that he wouldn’t like it.
“I did. Now you’ll have to make it for me every time I want to drink it.” As a relieved smile spreads across Kento’s face, Fuma brushes his lips against his cheek before leaning over and whispering, “But for this week, I think I want to enjoy Twenty Kenty Shining Star as much as possible.”
