Still playing Sonic Tag, this time with another AU. This AU has been in the works even longer than catboy!Hakyeon.

Leaving in the morning, Taekwoon finds, is always so much harder than he can find words to express.

He absolutely loathes it, the way he has to untangle himself from the blankets and Hakyeon's embrace when his alarm rings at obscene o'clock because he's the CEO and he must set a good example to his employees by being more punctual than simply on time. He despises being the cause of the low gutteral groan that his boyfriend lets out because he's been deprived of his favourite warm body to cuddle.

But up Taekwoon must get because there are things he needs to do, business he needs to conduct and people he needs to meet.

And if he's lucky enough, he might just be able to get everything done in time to sign out early and catch Hakyeon at work teaching little ones how to dance and express themselves using their body.

That thought alone is enough to get him moving, fingers deftly doing up the tie that had been hanging loosely around his neck.

I can't explain the vividness of this scene - maybe it's because I'm drinking cold coffee and it's morning and I'm listening to the whispering caves by those who ride with giants...I don't know. But this au feels so real.
