Title: Safe Warmth
Pair: Watanbe/Miyadate
Rating: PG-13 for naked cuddles
Summary: Sometimes, Watanabe just wants skin on skin contact, and nothing more.

There was nothing but skin between them at that moment, and Watanabe couldn’t have been happier. He didn’t need there to be sex, though it was nice, and he didn’t need there to be much communication. He just wanted to be skin to skin with someone. At the moment, that someone was Miyadate, his most frequent cuddle partner. They had been together so long, all he had to do was look at Miyadate and tug on his sleeve for the other boy to know what he wanted. More often than not they had sex, but that wasn’t the most important part for Watanabe. He just wanted to feel the warmth of someone next to him, the feeling of contentment washing over him as he felt safe and secure. He moved to his other side, Miyadate was still asleep, snoring slightly and looking at peace. Watanabe smiled, he studied the face that had always been with him, and couldn’t help but note the changes. The filled out angles of Miyadate’s jaw, the loss of the round cheeks in favor of sharper defined ones, and how the one lanky body had now evolved into hard muscle.

Sensing eyes on him, Miyadate blinked his eyes open and looked back at Watanabe blearily. “You ok?” he yawned, not fully conscious but still wanting to make sure. Watanabe flashed him a brilliant smile, one that was far too happy for six am. “You’re being weird again, aren’t you?” he accused affectionately. Knowing nothing is wrong, Miyadate let his eyes drop and his dreams take over him once more.

Watanabe lets him fall back asleep. They don’t need to be up for another two hours, and personally, Watanabe will take all the cuddle time he can get. Wrapped in the warmth of their two bodies against each other, he couldn’t be happier.
