I'm still bitter that Liyin is AWOL.

"Afternoon tea sounds like such a posh date," Baekhyun commented, frowning at Jongdae's Google search results over the other boy's shoulder. "How long have you two been going out that you're already splashing out on fancy, expensive dates like ~afternoon tea~?"

"Long enough to only want to give Liyin the best of the best," replied Jongdae lightly, twisting around to pinch his friend's side in retaliation for his skeptical tone. "And we both know you're just bitter that you weren't the first person to come up with this idea."

Baekhyun grumbled as he wandered away, knowing that his friend wasn't even wrong. Now he couldn't take Taeyeon out for a classy English afternoon tea date without looking like a copy-cat, even if he was the only person in the relationship to know that.

(Which he knew he wouldn't be, because he knew Liyin and Taeyeon still talked, even if they don't really work together — bonds forged through sharing a house together as trainees were harder to break than periods of no shared activities.)
