Of them, Minho selected a nubbly yellow towel from the stack offered in Joonmyun's arms.


"Are you sure your mother won't mind if I get mud and riverbed slime all over her good towels?"


Joonmyun winced slightly as he watched his friend's dirty fingernails sink into the soft pile of the sunny terrycloth, then shrugged. "It's fine. We only offer the best to our guests in this house, after all! And don't worry, I've done worse things to the towels and they've washed up just fine."


"You're sure?" Minho repeated though he was already rubbing the hem of the towel over the bridge of his nose, smearing mud onto the satin selvage.


"Oh, just shut up and get in the shower, will you? Before I come in after you and make sure all the dirt's rinsed out of your ears!"


"Eh, it's not like I'd kick you out if you tried, you know," Minho winked with the same charming grin that he'd used to talk Joonmyun into jumping in the river for a midnight swim.


"Well in that case...!" Joonmyun nudged Minho all the way into the bathroom with his sopping sneaker and closed the door with a firm click. "I promise I'll make sure you're 100% clean."
