Good citizens of Shiritori-land, new and old!
Are you excited to find out the new team line-ups? I know I'm excited to share them with you!
A few administrative things first:
Would you believe that for this new round, we had a grand total of 26 people signing up? Twenty-six!!! I am extremely grateful to all of you for being so enthusiastic and keeping Shiritori going~ (Especially those of you who is extremely active in promoting it to their friends.)

As such, we'll be splitting into four groups: two groups of 7 and two groups of 6. The groups are a little bigger than they have been in previous rounds, so I hope the members will help team leaders keep the ball rolling in a timely fashion by keeping a sharp look-out on whose turn it is. As Professor Moody liked to say, "Constant vigilance!"
On the topic of keeping a look out on things, I would like to take this chance to remind everyone that tagging the subject of your posts with your team number would be a massive help to everyone. (I particularly rely upon this to keep track of which teams are posting when I'm glancing at my e-mail.)
Finally, it was brought to my attention that the LiveJournal tagging system is acting dodgy, so when our new players have taken their first turn, if they could drop me a note (either through private message or in a comment) to let me know, I will edit their post with their tag. After that, the tags should be working correctly; it's just an issue on first use.
Now, onto the main point of this post: the new line-up!
And with this announcement, this new round of Shiritori is a-go! We've lost a team, so team leaders, you are free to start off your team with whatever word you'd like. (Want a challenge? Start with a word that rhymes or near-rhymes with October!)
