[Team Two] Lovesick

there isn't like anything i like about this, lmao. i had no inspiration so i decided to write a bit of the ice hockey au i came up with a little while ago. this ice hockey au doesn't involve any ice hockey, which makes no sense but i'm just really tired rn okay.

“Started already. The game I mean,” Ryuta pointed out when Sho ran back to their booth, dragging a large white box behind him. He’d been supposed to go and get warm sausages before the game started so that they would have something to sell to those who arrived on the last minute and wanted to get something to eat before going to their seats, but Sho had apparently gotten lost with the sausages.

It was the kid’s first day after all, Ryuta reminded himself, he shouldn’t scold him too harshly for being a bit slow.

“Give them to me and then open the door,” Ryuta continued when he saw his new helper struggling with the lock.

“Oh okay. Sorry.” Sho handed the box over the counter and opened the door next, stepping into the booth.

“Why did it take you so long anyway?” Ryuta asked while replacing the empty sausage box with the new one.

“I... um…”

When Ryuta turned to look he saw a suspicious blush on Sho’s cheeks, and he felt a sudden need to go and punch the sausage chef in the face.

“Don’t tell me Koji got you too! What do I have to do to make him stop turning all my employees into lovesick idiots?”
