I wonder if there's more where this came from...

"Wash off and meet me in the living room in ten," Hakyeon announced, popping his around the frame of the door. There was a note of excitement in his voice that Taekwoon hadn't heard in a while, but he wasn't able to confirm it because the other had already bustled off somewhere else in the house before he'd been able to turn around.

Still, he mused, it was nice to hear Hakyeon sounding so light-hearted. It had been a while since either of them had reason to be so, ever since…

He shook his head quickly, clearing his mind.

He set down the flask he had been working with and looked around to make sure none of the potions he was halfway through brewing wouldn't explode any time soon. Once he was sure he should be able to return to a clean and tidy workspace, he headed to the sink to wash his hands and then he left the room to meet Hakyeon in the living room.

He wondered what Hakyeon had prepared that had gotten him so excited.
