[team four] one and the same
I figured I should explore some of the Soojung/Seulgi 'best friends on opposite sides of the force' angst [loudly screeches about aphelion]
Her eyes stung, suddenly, filling with tears she couldn’t explain. Standing right across from her, yellow lightsaber at the ready, was her oldest friend. Seulgi’s eyes narrowed as she fell into a fighting stance, looking at Soojung with disgust.
Soojung gripped her own lightsaber a little tighter, the hilt digging into her palm. The blinding white blade hummed with every movement. “It’s not too late to leave, Seulgi.”
“And let you roam free to terrorize the galaxy?” Seulgi spat. “Never.”
“You’re angry,” Soojung said. She could feel the hatred radiate from Seulgi, the anger and resentment boiling underneath. Soojung remembered a time when she had felt the same way, back when she had been a Padawan on the brink of knighthood.
“Of course I am. You tore me to pieces by leaving,” Seulgi said, voice wavering slightly. “I trusted you. I loved you. You were a sister to me.”
Soojung’s death-like grip on her lightsaber loosened, memories of shared laughter coming to the forefront of her mind “Seulgi… I’m still the same person,” she said. “I haven’t changed.”
This was fun because after sharing this with my aphelion partner-in-crime we had a really nice discussion about these two characters and I LOVE THIS AU...... tagging![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
