[Team SONIC] The importance of having a unit

During the last week of the Johnny's World run this year Sakuma hurt himself bad enough to be unable to appear in about 90% of the show afterwards.
“Important things need to be addressed. You are coming with me.” Iwamoto picked Sakuma up.
“Put me down, Hikaru! I can walk, I swear!” Sakuma whined when Iwamoto carried him like a sack of rice over his shoulder. The other did set him down again, carefully but then, with a stern look, kept Sakuma from saying anything else.
“You stay here.” Iwamoto said. “Not buts.”
“Hikaru!” Sakuma whined. “I’m okay, really, I can da-”
“I know you know your body best but I also know you tend to prioritize other people, other things over yourself and your own well being. But think about it, your fans will be even more worried if you are reckless now and it turns into something serious.” Iwamoto pushed Sakuma down to sit on one of the pillows in the changing room gently and then knelt in front of Sakuma.
“Still. It’s hard not to be out there. It’s hard not to be with the rest of you!” Sakuma bit his lip. “I can manage. I promise I won’t do anything stupid.”
Iwamoto sighed softly and placed his hands on Sakuma’s shoulders. He looked him straight in the eye. “Don’t just think about the now. Think about what is still to come. Think about Snow Man. Just like you said, it’s hard when it’s not all six of us up on stage. We need you. Snow Man isn’t complete without you. We all have our place in the group, we all have things we need to do for the group. And right now, the thing you need to do for the group is to get some rest and recover. And then to come back to us.”
Sakuma went quiet at that. He knew Iwamoto was right. He also sucked at saying ‘no’ when the other was looking at him like that. As much as he liked to argue with Iwamoto usually.
“And you will be on stage with us. We’re not going to forget you. Even when you’re not physically there. Your spirit will be on stage with the rest of us.” Iwamoto got up and went to the costume rack. “I’m taking this with me.” He took Sakuma’s bandana from the black and white Zig Zag Love costumes. “And I’ll wear it.”
“Hikaru,” Sakuma was touched. He closed his eyes and nodded then. “Okay.”
The door to the room opened and revealed the rest of Snow Man standing outside. Fukazawa huffed and walked in. “Can’t just have Hikaru be all cool and leader-like and everything,” The oldest member of the group mumbled and grabbed the top of the costume. “I’m wearing this.”
“Fukka…”
Watanabe took the entire June Bride costume from the rack. “I’m taking this.”
Abe and Miyadate looked at each other before they lifted their ring fingers and pinkies to do the ‘Saku-Peace’. “You’ll be on stage with us.”
“Everyone,” Sakuma was at a loss for words. So he did the next best thing that came to his mind and launched himself at his unit, wrapping as many people into the hug as possible.

Date also did the Saku-Peace (both at JWorld and Shonen Club from what I hear). Abe (and Iwamoto) did the nico nii that Sakuma does, too, when he wasn't on stage :3
