Argh, almost late >_< and this is all I could come up with!!!

"Let's get out of here." Shirota says with a suave smile, sliding along the seat beside Taiga. “This isn't really my scene either.”

Taiga lets out a sigh of relief that he's not the only one that finds this party mind-numbingly boring. As important as the people here are - all hot shots in the entertainment world eager to meet Toho's players and find out more about Kyomoto Masaki's rising star of a son – Taiga is just so bored. If he has to listen to one more middle-aged man complain about his blood pressure while pouring cup after cup of sake, he thinks he might just lose his mind.

He grabs his jacket and sneaks out after Shirota who leads him quickly through a few back streets until they're safely away from the restaurant that is hosting the director's get-together.

“Where are we going?” Taiga finally asks, when Shirota's pace slows but he doesn't stop walking.

“I know a nice little bar a few blocks away” Shirota answers but then his voice slows cautiously. “Unless of course you'd like to just go home? I can call taxi for you...”

Taiga shakes his head quickly but since Shirota is in front of him he speaks too “No. My dad will kill me if he finds out I left this thing early. He said it was a good opportunity for me to 'build networks' and establish connections.”

“It was.” Shirota says seriously, but when he turns back to look at Taiga he's smiling almost cheekily. “But wasn't it so incredibly dull? You'll be fine. You met people, you talked...you're talented, they'll remember you.” They continue walking for a moment in silence, Taiga not entirely sure how to respond to his praise. “So you want to go for a drink with me?”

Taiga stops walking, the situation suddenly dawning on him, he's now on his own, with Shirota Yuu and a least a couple of hours to kill. He shudders in excitement as he nods.
