[team one] of kigurumis and itchy underwear

yes i am late again. i wasn't sure what i was going to write for this but then kayleigh prompted seokjin doing laundry. there's not much of the actual laundry in this but some cleaning?

Seokjin is really happy. He collapses face first onto his bed in Yoongi and his shared room. Their now sparkling clean dorm is quiet and smells like pinewood. Seokjin had chased them all out brandishing a broom, threatening to use it in a way brooms should never be used. Namjoon had called him an ahjumma and Seokjin had given him a juicy bruise with the blunt end of the broom before he could even finish his sentence.

Taehyung and Jimin had been out of reach, sprinting out of the dorm wearing too thin sweaters, wide grin on their faces as they dragged a protesting Jungkook with them. Hoseok had hooked his arms in Yoongi and Namjoon’s arms, promising solemnly that he’d keep the rascals away until Seokjin gave him the green light.

Hoseok is a blessing. Sometimes.

It’s not like Seokjin wants to clean the dorm by himself. On the contrary. His fellow members are filthy, they leave trash, lothes and other stuff everywhere and walks inside with their dirty sneakers on. However after a long, heated argument during a family meeting as Jungkook calls it, they had more or less agreed that Seokjin would clean the dorm by himself after snarling at them all for dragging the previous wash-up Sunday out. What Bangtan managed to do in six hours, Seokjin himself can do in just an hour and a half.

So he has the right to throw the other six out when he feels like the dorm needs to be properly cleaned. Like today.

Seokjin’s sheets are crisp, clean. In addition to cleaning the floors in the dorm, scrubbing the kitchen and the bathroom so clean you could eat from every surface, he also stripped all the sheets off their beds and put on new ones. They usually change sheets every 14 days or so, but Seokjin knows Jungkook especially changes his more often, feigning innocence when Seokjin asks him where the bunny sheets he had three days ago had gone. To be honest Seokjin isn’t sure if he wants to know. His mind has suggestions he’d rather not listen to.

The muscles in his back, thighs are comfortably sore, like they would be after a dance practice. Seokjin hums into his pillow as he wiggles further up his bed, allowing sleep, exhaustion to settle in his body. Minutes earlier he had texted Hoseok, telling him that they could return now if they wanted to, but he wouldn’t be making dinner anytime soon so if they wanted to buy dinner they could. Last time Seokjin checked he hadn’t gotten a reply and that’s completely fine.

Private moments are hard to find these days, so Seokjin willingly accepts every precious second of Seokjin-time. He should probably get up so the others won’t tease him and call him a grandpa when he gets home, but the warmth of the lavender-scented sheets are too tempting and Seokjin finds himself submitting to sleep quicker than he had expected.

Seokjin is roused by a weight; a warmth settling down on top of him. The groan that's pressed out of him is mostly absorbed by his soft fiber pillow, but the person on top of him laughs softly indicating that yes he heard him. Seokjin's brain, albeit heavily sleep-induced still recognises this person as Yoongi by his slight frame and the gentle smell of vanilla tinged with the lavender of their fabric softner.

When they have days off, days spent lounging in the dorm or drenching the parquet in their practice room, Yoongi smells calm, soft, vanilla. Days spent on the stage, airports, days spent with fans as Suga, Yoongi smells strong, rebellious, sandalwood. The fans can't tell Suga and Yoongi apart. To Bangtan it has become a sixth sense almost. Yoongi is soft sweaters and no pants, fondly ruffling the younger members' hair. Suga is tempramental, snarky, rough. Seokjin loves them both.

Today it's Yoongi. Seokjin's Yoongi.

"You're back," Seokjin says, voice rough from sleep, cracking on the vowels. Yoongi chuckles softly against the curve of Seokjin's back. The warmth of it seeping through Seokjin's cotton Henley and into his skin. The palms of Yoongi's cold hands are sliding slowly up Seokjin's back, following the slope of his shoulders and down his arms as far as they get. The rough pads of Yoongi's fingers curl in the sleeves that's pushed up to Seokjin's elbows. Yoongi's bare feet - Yoongi never wears socks in their dorm - reach down to Seokjin's clothed calves, his toes gently prying at the fabric.

"Where are the kids?" Seokjin's brain feels sluggish; the words barely leaving his mouth. It's a wonder Yoongi understands him.

"Playing in the clean living room. Namjoon might be asleep," Yoongi tells him, pulls his mouth away from Seokjin's sweater, leaving a wet print of his lips behind. Seokjin lets out soft groans of mild pain as Yoongi worms up Seokjin's body until his cheek is resting on Seokjin's shoulder. If Seokjin was to turn his head slightly, Yoongi's nose would brush against Seokjin's cheek.

"I just changed the sheets."

"I know."

Yoongi tumbles gently off Seokjin's body but doesn't go far - the front of his body pressed against Seokjin's side. It's warm where their bodies meet. Seokjin is always warm but this feels nice.

"Hyung." Yoongi's fingers curl around Seokjin's bicep, tugging gently. Seokjin lets Yoongi turn him, aids him a bit until they lie face to face, both heads on Seokjin's fluffy pillow. There's some space between their bodies but te warmth is still there. Yoongi's hand is still on his arm, trailing down the length of it until he reaches Seokjin's wrist.

Yoongi is so beautiful like this, Seokjin muses, his bangs messily pushed back from his face, some of the finer baby hair falling over his forehead. His face is completely bare, no make up to hide the small imperfections on Yoongi's face. Seokjin loves him like this.

Moments pass and all Seokjin and Yoongi do is to lie curled up, staring into each other's eyes, gazes occasionally flickering over the other's face, taking in the gentle slope of a nose or the curve of a cupid's bow. A tongue flicker over dry lips, leaves them shiny, slick.

The air in the room feels tense, crackling at Seokjin's skin and yet soothing, calm, familiar. There's no pressure, no rush. Just Seokjin and Yoongi.

One of them caves, loses. They both still get rewarded. Yoongi pulls at Seokjin's wrist, hooks it over his hip until Seokjin gets the idea, curls his arm around Yoongi's hip until their fronts are flush against each others'. Yoongi's lips fit perfectly against Seokjin's; warm, soft. It's gentle, a brush of lips more than anything but neither of them pull back, both opting to stay close, lips brushing, sucking, nipping.

A different kind of warmth spreads through Seokjin's chest, origining in his chest, filling his entire body with a gentle, plesant warmth. Seokjin curls his fingers in Yoongi's (Seokjin's) black crewneck sweater, bunching the fabric in his hand. At this, Yoongi makes a soft sound, presses closer to Seokjin. Their noses nudge, nuzzle as their kiss turns wetter, slicker with flickers of tongue, teeth pulling at lips.

The wet sounds of their lips, the soft gasps as they pull part for mere seconds because their brains tell them that yes, kissing is nice but oxygen is a good number two, fills the room, the noise almost deafening in the otherwise quiet space. It makes the tip of Seokjin's ears burn. The noise so obscene despite originating from something as pure as kissing.

Their bubble burst with the knock on their door. Seokjin doesn't remember closing it so he assumes Yoongi must have.

"Yes?" Seokjin says against Yoongi's lips, making it sound more like 'mweys' than Seokjin intended it to. Yoongi makes a sound akin to a growl. To Seokjin's ear it sounds like a half purr and Seokjin fights the urge to chuckle or coo at the boy in his arms.

"Seokjin hyung, I- oh-" the soft voice belongs to Jungkook. Even though Seokjin is still too busy kissing the air out of Yoongi's lungs, he can still hear Jungkook's voice cracking, visions the blush spreading out on his cheeks. Jungkook had never been too good at walking in on PDA. Especially not when it's Seokjin and Yoongi.

"Get out," Yoongi mumbles. Seokjin makes to pull away but Yoongi's hand moves from his bicep to his neck, keeps him in place. Yoongi is surprisingly strong when he wants to.

"Seokjin hyung," Jungkook protests, voice a slight whine. It's the one where he pouts. Tries with much success to sound like a little child and awaken Seokjin's parental feelings for him. It rarely fails.

Yoongi is strong but Seokjin is stronger. A well placed palm on Yoongi's chest accompanied by a soft pinch to Yoongi's side makes him let go of Seokjin albeit not without a final, loud smack of lips.

When Seokjin then is able to turn to look at Jungkook, his lips are tingling and his face feels hot. Jungkook feels hotter, Seokjin thinks when he sees that the younger boy is dressed in a big t-shirt as well as a fluffy pink towel draped around his narrow hips, bare legs. His black hair is wet, dripping onto his t-shirt.

"You should dry yourself off better, Jungkook," Seokjin says, frowning and fighting the urge to get up and towel Jungkook's hair dry for him. Well, it's more due to the Yoongi-shaped anchor he has around his neck that keeps him in place. Seokjin's tummy flutters warmly.

Jungkook flushes further.

"But I take it as you didn't come to me to get advices on how to dry your hair?" Seokjin asks, rising an eyebrow at Jungkook who's squirming in the doorway. He usually isn't this fidgety - his shyness is generally not as present when he's with the other members so Seokjin wonders what got his panties in a pinch.

Seokjin notices how Jungkook's gaze flickers from Seokjin to Yoongi and back to Seokjin again, teeth worrying his bottom lip.

"For heaven's sake, Jungkook," comes Yoongi's muffled voice from where his face is partly buried in Seokjin's thin shirt. Seokjin can hear him roll his eyes.

"I only have underwear that itch left," Jungkook mutters, speaking to his toes rather than to Seokjin but it's fine, Seokjin heard him. Jungkook has lots and lots of briefs and boxers alike but there's only some of them he can use because he claims the others itch, even though Seokjin uses extra mild laundry detergent and no fabric softner. He also has tried handwashing Jungkook's itchy underwear to no avail. Jungkook still claims they itch and Seokjin has no other choice than to believe him.

"Are you sure? I know I washed a huge load of your underwear just recently, Jungkook. You can't have used them all? Go and check again, and make sure to look properly," Seokjin tells him. Jungkook frowns, fingers fisted in the front of the towel.

"I have looked, hyung-" Jungkook is cut off by Taehyung who's wearing nothing more than a pair of superman printed boxers.

"Hyung!" Taehyung booms, not even reacting at the intimate way Seokjin and Yoongi are lying on the bed, their limbs entangled. This is something Taehyung would make fun of them for if it had been a regular day. "Where is my Batman t-shirt?"

"Where you put it last, I assume?" Seokjin says, Yoongi lets out a soft chuckle, breath warm through Seokjin's shirt. "Taehyung I'm not your mother. I wash your clothes but I just dump them on your bed. Where you've put them, I have no idea."

Taehyung flails his arms wildly, reminding Seokjin of Namjoon when he dances. He promptly swallows the chuckle that bubbles up in his throat.

"We're going to see Batman vs Superman, and if I wear my Batman t-shirt everyone will think I'm on Batman's team when secretly I'm on Superman's team," Taehyung explains excitedly and gestures to his crotch with a boxy grin.

The way Jungkook looks at Taehyung sends another laughing fit through Seokjin's body. He prides himself on his ability to remain calm. In his arms, Yoongi is trembling with quiet laughter.

However it's not until something pink and fluffy trots into Seokjin and Yoongi's room that Seokjin finally gets the seriousness of this situation. Namjoon is wearing a bunny kigurumi, legs of it pushed up to his knees, hood complete with ears pulled over his head.

"Okay, okay!" Seokjin says, untangling himself from Yoongi, more or less throwing himself out of the bed. Yoongi makes a loud, protesting noise and it takes everything Seokjin has not to return to the bed and fall into Yoongi's embrace. He stomps past Namjoon, Taehyung and Jungkook, grumbling that he'll do the laundry now.

"I hope you're fucking pleased. I was about to get some," Seokjin hears Yoongi snarl. The whiny tone of his voice makes Seokjin smile as he heads for the bathroom.

this was so cute!!
I love how soft the whole story feels and how the whole group truly feels like a family. a very disjointed and silly family and LOL AT JEONGGUK AND HIS SHEETS AND UNDERPANTS PROBLEMS what a boy that one :3

And then the yoonjin omgoSH the yoonjin is so sweet and soft and gentle ;;-;; I really liked how you did do the sort of soft distinction between Yoongi and Suga in this because so often it's got this weird drawn line where it's one or the other but you did a lovely job of handling it while remaining in canon. And then the two of them together is just so sweet and soft and gentle UGH i love it so much!

Thank you so much for writing this and I'll be howling at Namjoon in a kigurumi for days now XD
