[TEAM ONE] I wish I was single again, I wish I was single again...
Swapped pronouns, but yes. :) Started our second round off like this--let's speed through it. ^^
“She’s never asked me what I want,” Joonmyun grumbles into his mostly empty bottle of soju.
The bartender wipes around Joonmyun’s drink. The first time he went to lift it, Joonmyun growled at him, low and deep in the back of his throat, and it visibly spooked the bartender to the point he’s clearly learnt not to do it again. “What is it you do want?” he asks Joonmyun.
Joonmyun shrugs. “To spend time with her. To share meals together. To not come home and find a note on the table saying not to wait for her. For our relationship to not be falling apart.”
The bartender sighs. “Have you tried talking to her?”
Joonmyun gives him a Look. “Yes. She avoids it.”
“Do you still love her?”
“Yes,” Joonmyun says. “No. Maybe. Sometimes? Sometimes I feel like I never see her, and that it’s fading.”
“Find some reason to talk to her. Stop her from going out. And finish your soju, we close in five minutes.”
“Oh, sorry.” Joonmyun drinks directly from the bottle, tossing it back, like it’s water. It barely even burns any more. He tries not to let the bottle hit the counter too hard, as he lets his arm fall back down. “Thanks.”
“No problem,” the bartender says.
“I’ll see you,” Joonmyun says, even though he’s not sure he’ll come back.
(He does, and when he does, he’s single again.)
for if i were single me pockets would jingle, i wish i was single again......
I was tagged and I posted and then I realised that I wasn't supposed to be the next person to write. Sorry! It's your turn
