Admin Post: [mod post] sign ups/reshuffle

We're moving into fall (and it's been ~6 months), so Mousi and I thought it might be a good time for a check-in before we head into the busy school season for those who are studying, and the pre-holidays/holidays for everyone.

As a quick reminder, or if you're newer to the scene, how this works is you leave a comment below if you're still in, would like to step out, if you're happy with the team you're on and would like to stay, if you'd like to be added or removed from the sonic restarter list, if you'd like to be moved to or moved out of the ao3 pilot group or slow team (five days vs. three days), if your contact info has changed or you need to be poked on a different platform when it's your turn.

Captains, please confirm that you'd like to remain captain, or let us know if you'd prefer to step down. If you're not a captain but wouldn't mind taking on the role, please feel free to indicate your interest.

Things seem to be going reasonably well, but please leave a comment if there are any issues you'd like to bring up, or contact one of us at @mousapelli (same for gmail) or @tulipsalt (bluedreaming@fea.st).

If you're new, welcome! Please comment below, maybe mention what fandoms you like to write, if you need to be poked outside of LJ (include that contact info), if you're interested in joining the slow team or the ao3 pilot team, and any questions.

We'll go to the end of the round for all teams, sonic will continue as usual throughout, and please let me know if I forgot anything!

I'm still in, clearly, still being a captain. Both my teams are fine but I'm sure we'll get moved around a little; I'm good for whatever although it's easiest for me to poke teammates on twitter.

Hello! Just to clarify, if I understand correctly you'd like to be on team 2?

We've had a lot of people on "regular" teams posting on Ao3 lately so that should be fine. Are you still okay with posting a header on lj with the link for continuity purposes? (An example would be Midori's latest post.) And if you could add the Ao3 post to the "shiritori" collection that would be great. (Please reply with questions/concerns.)

i'd like to stay in shiritori, in the pilot team, tho i wonder if there are enough people for a slow ao3 team? i would prefer a slow ao3 team over the regular one, just so i won't have to skip so often.

I'm honestly not sure yet if there are enough ao3 people for an ao3 slow team. However, now that we know how things work, would you perhaps be up to joining the regular slow team, but just posting on ao3? It would be basically the same as right now (posting a header on lj and tweeting the next person) except that you would only post to the "shiritori" collection on ao3 and not have a designated series.

Hello! I'm Yrin, and I'm interested in joining. I write primarily in sports anime fandoms, especially Prince of Tennis and Haikyuu!! I've never done shiritori before, but it seems like fun. I know a handful of people doing this, so if it doesn't require too much juggling, I think I'd like to be in a team with at least some of them (I don't know LJ usernames, but I think Mousi does)?

The best place for poking me is probably twitter; I'm @ yrindor there as well.

Hello Yrin! We're glad to have you and we do have a bit of a sports anime team so I think that will likely be a good fit. (And I'll check with Mousi.) I've noticed that you're using a Dreamwidth OpenID account--are you able to join the writetomyheart community? I tried to add you with your user id number, but LiveJournal is not cooperating. (join link)

Are you planning on posting to the community or posting on ao3 and then just linking to a header (a good example post here)? If you are planning on posting to ao3, if you could add stories to the "shiritori" collection, that would be excellent.

If you're able to join the writetomyheart community, you should be able to post to the community using your OpenID, whether it's a full post or a header post. Please let me know if you have any questions. The first time you post, your writer tag won't work, so just let Mousi mousapelli or myself know and we'll fix it. After that it will work without any issues.

I've also noted about the twitter tag.
